  1. He's actually very funny. Dry humor. His dad wrote the original book of scouting. Saban has a similar personality, was he a horrible recruiter? Were guys like Corey Dillon and Randy moss malcontents that bought into a patriots program and competed at the highest level? I think a lot of guys would love to play for both sanders and Belichick. They will learn a lot more under Bill.
  2. Bill will be a threat in my opinion. He will outscheme pretty much everybody. His problem at the NFL level was a few bad drafts as a gm. Coaching was always elite. Patriots wish they had a coach of bills caliber right now, mayo can't hold a candle.
  3. It's amazing to me that a team could hire an absolute can and it wouldn't face criticism yet the best coach I've ever seen at the highest level is being destroyed because he bangs hot women. He is another Saban but at a smaller school. As Texas fans we're lucky he wasn't at UNC earlier because he does his homework and would have offered Michael Taaffe. This is also a challenge he is taking personally as he was fired before the patriots took unc QB Drake Maye. Knowing Bill, he will have a goal to win the ACC before Drake Maye wins the afc East. If you're North Carolina, can't think of a better hire. Will bring a tremendous staff, great coaches and can make average talent look elite.
  4. He can, but I'm not confident he can consistently and that's the problem. In year 3 I expected the highs to be a lot more frequent and the lows to be a lot more infrequent. He diced Florida, can he consistently destroy SEC and playoff caliber defenses? Perhaps in between the 20s but they need touchdowns.
  5. Does Fasusi really want to go to a losing program where he'll get smashed? In my opinion sheer stupidity to go to Oklahoma. If he does, transfer after a year or two. Who else is a real threat in the sec? I wouldn't extend a big money offer if it's Oklahoma. Allocate resources next year if he doesn't want us now and is really a need.
  6. I hope Charles reconsiders and sticks with Texas but it's too early to panic. I never would have expected Jermayne Lole to be as valuable and cost effective as he's been when many would have preferred to overpay for guys like Bear Alexander prior. Trust the process and trust in Sark! 🤘
  7. Just wanted to start a thread if there hasn't been one yet to thank coach PK. The defensive side of the ball has been the best D I've seen all year across the country. It's been a pleasure to watch. This is as good of a Texas defense since when?
  8. Absolutely. I think Texas is the best team in the nation but need to play a lot better than today to prove that. Nice win, a lot to learn from. They have been very good against what's in front of them, just need a little better execution to win it all imo. Fumble issues are still a worry. I feel more confident in the defense than in the offense which is not what I had anticipated coming into the year. Both are elite but the pass rushing is such a breath of fresh air allowing such a diverse attack from Nansen and PK.
  9. Is that what I was doing or is making an honest evaluation of the level of talent that we've played versus what's coming down the pipeline actually being reasonable? Davis warren, Michael Hawkins ? Two top 25 wins and I don't understand why either of those guys are starting at their respective programs.
  10. As good as Texas has looked, I think there are major questions marks and liabilities that need to be ironed out. Havent faced a real QB yet 6 games in which is concerning. Running game is still being identified with the lack of a true three down back with Baxter out.
  11. Might actually be the honest truth 😂
  12. 38-16 was my sober take. My Oklahoma suks beer take is 47 10
  13. I was lifting weights listening to this and I started laughing my head off and couldn't finish the set
  14. Klatt has become my favorite to listen to. Provides good insight from a QB perspective and knows a lot about all of these teams and players.
  15. Jonah Williams is my hero. OU sucks!

  16. Two great young leaders pushing each other towards greatness day in day out.
  17. I've been rewatching a lot of college football (mainly sec) from the past 10+ years and seeing Cam Newton again really reminds me of Jalen Milroe. Does anyone else see the comparison? If not, who would you compare Milroe to?
  18. Maybe I'm wrong but I was thinking the rain would benefit Alabama since Milroe is more of a dual threat as a passer and runner. Rain may limit the effectiveness of the pass which would make Georgia at a disadvantage with Carson Beck in my opinion.
  19. Orji makes Tebow look like Dan Marino
  20. The beard and balls bundle 😆
  21. Him doing everything to try to be mahomes
  22. Neyor looks good, happy for him
  23. He was a Lambo on that touchdown Saturday
  24. Just my personal opinion, but with the gambling operation influencing football especially at a professional level, the integrity of the game and money has severely hindered the product on the field. College football is going to take full advantage of that. Arch has money, and should be in no rush to go to the NFL where there is really no clear standard of what's good or bad football because so much is determined by money and the officials on the field. I hope I'm right that Arch stays for at least 2 years as a starter on top of whatever starts he makes this year.
