    You ride Arch out and hope to see him return to last year's level of play and continue to improve and progress. Only three games in and people want him out. It couldn't get any worse than this past weekend unless your name is DJ Lagway. Contingency plan is change the offense to a running scheme with options and depend on kicking and special teams to grind out close games.

    I think they win every game the rest of the way. My two biggest worries are Oklahoma and Georgia but Texas defense finds a way. I think mateer will get beaten down against Texas and as much as im disgusted in texas I think many of their opponents have major questions as well. Fortunately I can count on the defense to not only stop teams but set the offense up in solid down and distance.

    The offensive struggles as well as the overall penalties is a recipe for disaster against any team with a pulse.

    Arch is playing like a guy who shouldn't be starting or a future draft pick. Quite the surprise. While I'm not throwing in the towel, I don't know what the hell the kids doing out there. 114 yards on utep is atrocious.

    Id have used these three non conference games to use different formations, different players etc. Safe to say I've learned nothing new this season as far as identity. If anything, more question marks than prior to the season which isnt good. I expected more answers and defined roles on top of an offensive identity. Disappointed.

    By gameplan I'd have gone up tempo spread with lots of targets to motion. I think most coaches would be disappointed in their scheme and performance vs utep if Arch was 0-9 consecutively at one point.

    I'm saying if a young QB lacks confidence you should probably game plan and scheme to build confidence. The fact that Ryan Wingo doesn't have a single catch against utep halfway through the third quarter is absolutely disgusting. If that's a great gameplan, enlighten me.

    He will be fine. Clear to me that the scheme theyre using isn't conducive to his best assets. But definitely alarming.
