Vinson likely took some of the money that they had allocated for Toppin, which makes natural sense that the remaining dollars is less than what it was before, but please, by all means continue to show your ass on every basketball thread with the same tired posts.

    You are an idoit of the highest order. How many times does Gerry have to tell you, Texas and Terry have invested millions in NIL on this team? They are not taking on a guy that is going to make more in NIL that Tre Johnson, you they spent nearly a million on. You keep asking the same question different ways, and Gerry gives you the same answer. Were you dropped on your head as a baby, or is being obtsue your thing?

    Why? Del Conte is equally ruthless and efficient. He hires winning coaches, period. I think his last 3 hires before today were all sitting national championship coaches in their respective sports.

    Good interview, but Greg's hyperbole about the talent in the SEC was completely out of control. There are not 2 Top 40 NFL draft picks on every SEC roster, that is just an aisinine statement.

    The Big 12 has media contracts with ESPN/ABC and Fox/FS1/FS2. They will have plenty of games on major networks. They will be the 3rd best football conference and the #1 basketball conference moving forward. I think people thinking they will fall apart because us and ou left are hilariously mistaken.

    I bet other conferences do the same thing. The Big 12 is currently looking at a large gap between what they are getting in coference TV deals and what the B1G and SEC will receive. I give him credit for thinking outside the box, something previous Big 12 commisioners failed to do. He's also looking at selling a portion of the league to a hedge fund.
