  1. Looks like we are going to jack 3's all game long. Man, Terry really needs to develop some better offensive sets.
  2. The only way this game is close is Ewers turns it over 3+ times.
  3. Yes. Wisner - 1202 with 6 TDs Blue - 1008 with 12 TDs
  4. It seems our defense at times focused too many eyes on him and left wide open zones for his WRs, but damn he was dealing in the late 3rd and early 4th. Our running game and depth were just too much for Clemson, but it was clear the much better QB was a Tiger, just like in HS.
  5. Georgia has no QB and a crap offensive scheme.
  6. There is no way he's going in the 1st round, even if Texas wins the CFP. Too much film on his weaknesses.
  7. There are no more "kids" in college athletics. They are semi-professional players.
  8. Yeah, they probably had their meeting and Sarkisian explained the situation. I wish him all the best.
  9. He's need in the RZ moving forward because Quinn just can't do it. Arch at a minimum can present a run threat and make the defense have to account for the extra body. Quinn is a statue that falls down because his footwork is so sloppy, so defenders don't have to worry about leaving their rush lanes.
  10. I saw it reported elsewhere that our collective currently had $22-24M and was the highest for all schools.
  11. Think he ends up callin Baton Rouge?
  12. Kinda like anyone thinking some team is scoring 30+ on this Texas defense.
  13. Sarkisian's body language and expressions during games are his true feelings about his QB, not what he says in post game interviews. He knows Quinn is making wrong reads more often than not.
  14. Urban Meyer is tan ready and rested.
  15. He's not good.
  16. What outside people think of Quinn Ewers. Bascially sums it up very well.
  17. So, he's performing worse this year as opposed to last year. Good call.
  18. Yet, against similar SEC defenses Quinn struggled. Our WR corp is very good, yet coming into the SEC CG, you want to know how many had 100 yard games? 3. You want to know who the QB was for the majority of those games. It wasn't Ewers.
  19. There's plenty of data to support that this was the likely outcome with Quinn.
  20. Quinn has 24 games against P4 competition in his 3 years at Texas where he completed the game. He is 18-6 in those games. He is 17-1 when he leads at HT. The average spread is 20.8 to 4.3, his 1st loss when leading at HT was yesterday. Twice has he had to lead a 4Q comeback to retake the lead. ISU in 2022 with 4 minutes to go, and Bama last year with 14:05 left to go. He is 1-5 when trailing at HT. The average spread is 9.7 to 16.5, less than a TD. Only once has he managed to retake the lead in these games in the 4Q, last year against OU. People often talk about the clutch gene, Quinn just doesn't have it.
  21. Everyone in the Rose Stadium knew (including the USC coaches) that once we stopped them on 4th down they were losing the game. Not once have I ever felt anything remotely close to that feeling with Ewers at any point in his time at Texas. The same with Sam in 2019 against LSU, they knew if we got the ball back with a chance to win the game, we were going to win it.
  22. Georgia is an elite talented defense that only has to worry about 25 yards when playing Texas and Quinn Ewers. They can usually leave the middle of the field open because Quinn doesn't see it. Most of his throws are on the perimeter. The few times he tried the middle, one resulted in a 41-yard catch and run for a TD. We are seeing the same issues in the RZ manifest themselves again from last year, except this year Auburn is a pumpkin.
  23. This is interesting because guess who recruited him to Western Kentucky? 6'3" 300 pounds, 60 tackles. Dude looks like he can play.
  24. Money whip the best guy we can find.
