    Staff must be really confident we can upgrade all these positions with the portal if they’re letting all these players walk…extremely concerning when they have no control over who enters from other teams.

    Felt like this wasn’t being talked about enough. Washington’s starting QB agreed to a deal to return in 2026. 4 days later he enters the portal with a do not contact tag. Seems very obvious he was pushed into the portal by another school. There’s so much wrong with college athletics today I don’t know where to start.

    I wouldn’t say tech is “all in.” Yes they’ve signed multiple players but aside from Sorsby none of them are top 10 in the portal at their position. All except Sorsby are three star portal prospects with 3/8 coming from P4 schools. They also lost 16 players to the portal.

    I turned on tweet notifications for their Twitter page. They tweet immediately once somebody commits.

    Rod B!! I’ve learned so much about the game itself from listening to your insight on the livestreams.     If I remember correctly there was chatter mid CFP last year of teams trying to poach Simmons and Muhammad away. I’ll just say…I completely understand why many coaches have no interest in coaching college anymore.

    We still have quite of bit of retention to do but I’m hoping the attrition helps free up space for multiple big hitters in the portal
