I have a few random plays that I personally loved 1) McDonald goes Vince Carter for the INT vs SHSU 2) Hill stuffing the OU RB who thought he was going to run him over 3) Mosley toe tap TD vs MSU 4) Wingo taking it to the house first play vs Vandy

    That would be awesome. Get some more football to watch during the dead period before the playoffs too. And agreed on expanding. The beauty of college football is each week in the regular season can make or break you. We don’t need to start seeing 8-4 teams in the CFP.

    I would have to respectfully disagree that the G5 team should automatically be included based on their record against other G5 teams. JMU lost by 14 to the only P4 team they played and Tulane lost by 35 to the team they are about to play again in the playoffs. The lines for both of their games are absurd for a CFP game. I agree that they need something to play for at the end of the day, which is why I think proving you deserve a spot by beating a fringe P4 playoff team in a play in is the most fair way to ensure the committee selects the true best 12 (or 16) teams.

    I also wouldn’t mind the first team out in week 15 to have a play in game vs the G5 conference champ. If you really want the 12 best teams you should not be giving the G5 an auto bid.

    I’ll always be a fan of big time OOC games, but I see the concern if the number in the win column is all that matters for the playoffs. Especially with the new 9 game SEC schedule…

    On paper yes it looks more difficult, especially with the extra SEC game. Will have to see how all the teams with new coaches end up playing out. @LSU will be tough. Lane will retain a lot of talent and bring in his own.

    With majority of the coaching jobs filled for now, which rosters do you guys think Texas can have some success from in the portal? LSU will be tough now with Lane coming in and not sure what will be left of Ole Miss. Florida made a very meh hire in my opinion. I’d love Dallas Wilson and Baugh… Might be able to snag some big humans from Auburn too?

    Get rid of the auto G5 bid. This isn’t March Madness. Respect to their seasons but those teams will never go on a Cinderella run in the CFP….

    While I think the brand holds some weight, there’s far too many 10 win teams above us. There’s no chance we make it in.

    I care that we beat A&M and OU. Sure a disappointing season in the end but those are huge wins for this program and a great way to close out the season. Proud of how this team grew throughout the year and there’s a lot to be excited for. Like you said let’s go throw bags in the portal and come out swinging in 2026🤘

    From my understanding there is no space for Bevo in the renovated Kyle Field which is why he wasn’t there last year. 2011 and prior he was allowed.

    A priority would be a star at RB and some experienced IOL. Haven’t had a consistent running game since Jonathan Brooks went down in 2023.

    I think next year will be huge if Sark makes the right staff moves and attacks the portal like he did in 23 and 24. We lose some big time players for us but so much upside has been shown from the younger guys these last few games.

    Terrible for college football if big programs start to do this. Stadiums are meant to be packed and loud. Oh well sucks to be a Sooner 🤘
