Tinney gets tied up and strikes out on a check swing. The Longhorns leave the bases loaded in the fourth.

Nothing happening in the Michigan State bullpen. Szczepanski will have to get himself out of the jam.

Robbins works a walk. The bases are loaded with two outs for Tinney.

Rodriguez hits it deep enough back up the middle to leg out a single. It's first and third with two outs for Robbins.

Mendoza strikes out. Pack is on second with two outs for Rodriguez.

Pack breaks for second base on the new pitcher, Tommy Szczepanski, resulting in a balk. Pack is on second and Larson scores, making it a 4-0 lead for the Longhorns.

Larson moves to second on a groundout by Becerra and then goes to third on an opposite-field base hit by Pack. Michigan State is making a pitching change with first and third and one out for the Longhorns.

Jonah smacks a single through the right side. The ball scoots into right field, allowing Carson Tinney to score. It's a 3-0 lead for the Longhorns.

Tinney keeps the inning alive by ripping a two-out double to left that hits off the mesh wall. Jonah is up with two down and a runner in scoring position.

Picot goes down swinging. Volantis has four Ks through three and has kept the Spartans off the scoreboard.

It's a RISP situation with two outs for Picot. Some high-stress pitches for Volantis in the second and now in the third.

Borba saves Becerra from a throwing error with a nice pick at first base to get Seymour. Spartans have a runner on second with one out and Broski up.
