  1. Mendoza grounded into an inning-ending double play, but the Longhorns scored three runs in the sixth to take an 11-run lead to the home half.
  2. Gumbo Duplantier, pinch running for Williams, scores from third on a sacrifice fly by Gasparino.
  3. Adam Arthur isn't doing much better than JJ Slack for K-State. He walked Flores and then gave up an RBI single to Jonah Williams. As I was typing that out, Borba singled to left to bring Flores home. Texas has a 13-3 lead with two on and nobody out in the top of the sixth.
  4. Rodriguez gets hit by a pitch in the leg to lead off the sixth for the Longhorns.
  5. I want to see good, competitive at-bats. Don't start swinging out of your shoes now.
  6. Riojas is up to 72 pitches. Going the distance probably isn't reasonable, but he needs to keep eating innings.
  7. The fourth K of the day by Riojas ends the K-State fifth with a runner stranded on first.
  8. Riojas had retired 12 in a row before hitting Flores with a pitch.
  9. That's a shocker. They were the hottest team in the country coming into the tournament.
  10. They're no match for Bobby Hill and the Heimlich County Meat Judging team!
  11. Belyeu walks to load the bases, but Schuessler grounds into an inning-ending fielder's choice.
  12. Galvan just took a pitch in the shoulder. K-State is making a pitching change.
  13. Gasparino (reached on a bloop single) went home on an infield single by Mendoza. K-State had him nailed, but he dislodged the ball from the catcher on an attempted sweep tag. Gas scores, Mendoza is on second with two outs and Texas has an 11-3 lead.
  14. The debate on what Schloss did or didn't say is dominating the conversation in the press box.
  15. Aggies are having a field day with Schloss (maybe?) catching himself saying "Gig 'Em" when signing off from his in-game interview. I was looking forward to those clowns staying quiet while watching other teams play baseball this weekend, but we don't always get what we want.
  16. K-State retires Borba on a 5-4-3 double play after a bunt single by Jonah Williams.
