    Well, it won't be for state, but you'll get to see them play the next two seasons regardless as they're now in the "District of Doom" a.k.a. the hardest district in the state. Both teams, along with Lancaster, Cedar Hill, Dallas Skyline, Mesquite Horn, etc make it a district chocked full of talent!

    The Longhorns just offered 2026 wide receiver Chris Henry Jr. out of Mater Dei High School in California. Henry has been committed to the Buckeyes since July 2023. He is the son of former NFL WR Chris Henry, who played for the Bengals, and is considered to be a five-star prospect. His sister, Seini Hicks, is committed to Ohio State for basketball.
