    With all due respect, this is such a loser mentality. I keep hearing from you and a lot of mods that doing the same thing and expecting different results is the definition of insanity. So, let's just have Sark keep doing the same things. Sark getting on his guys would come off disingenuous? I guess we should just lay down then. This is a disappointing response.

    I remember similar things said about Quinn and Arch being the one who could step up to make that throw.

    Arch having zero confidence in himself as a quarterback is the issue. Just like a three point shooter who needs to see the ball go through the hoop, Arch needs to build his confidence on the easy throws. It's either he has all the time in the world and he's late (and he knows he's late, which is why he'll go for the big shot) or he has his center and right guard in his lap before he can even make a decision. How do you help a struggling QB?

    Arch looks slow, clunky, can't read a blitz, can't audible to the correct play, stares down open receivers and then pulls the trigger too late into double coverage. The performance on the field is all on Arch, and it's not because he's a bum or a JAG; it's because he is a head case and has been all season. So what do you do? Bench Arch? The media firestorm would be one for the ages, and I don't think this team would be able to recover from that. Also, and in my opinion, the Mannings are not going to allow Arch to be benched. We've heard it the last few years, Arch is here to get developed so that he can have a long career in the NFL. This is actually good for Arch because he can work out his head case issues now and not have to deal with it in the NFL. The problem is that we have to deal with the consequences. I'm all for Lacey getting reps or even starting next game, but we'll be at a crossroads when that happens.

    At least if we play KJ, we'll have the element of surprise for the Ole Miss defense. It's worth a shot. If anything, it will get Arch Manning fired up and maybe get him out of the funk that's he's in.

    I still believe Caldwell last year could have had a Chambliss like season if Sark didn't have the Arch golden handcuffs.

    Last year it was "Cedric Baxter just isn't the same athlete as he was before the injury." So we moved on from Baxter who is doing well at Kentucky. I'm sure when Arch goes to a different team, he'll start to ball out like he should have here. So, what's the common denominator?

    Arch Manning, disappointingly, needs to find a new change of scenery. I selfishly wanted Arch to be the guy that got Texas back to the National Championship game, and its just not working out. I bet he'll transfer to Tennessee or Ole Miss next year and ball out for them.
