Red Five

Spence should probably be listed at LB and Terry at DT.

Think he was working pretty much exclusively at star this past year.

He probably had some help from some talented doctors, modern technology, etc.

I'd like to hear more about the part where Sark fired PK so that he could hire his successor as DC, because that's how that works.

There's probably some ego bruising, if he was told he's not going to be starting next season. Because yeah, turning down that kind of money to play for Texas in what could be a historic year with his roommate Arch doesn't make any sense.

I know it's a different world, but if you would have offered me $500k to attend The University of Texas and play football and chase Arch Manning's leftovers, I pity the person getting between me and my pen and that contract.

Black Gideon is funnier.

There is something about the way Mendoza talks that is very annoying to me.

I want to see Indiana win the national championship just to watch Cignetti's postgame interview. "Well, yeah, we got a trophy. So that's ok I guess. We played alright. Only eight months before the next game, so we've got stuff to focus on.... (walks off)"

Cignetti is an absolute witch. I was reading that they barely even practice... one he feels like they've mastered something they go study more film or something.

I think Simon is expected back. I have not seen anything from Clark that would make me want him back, but part of that could be related to his recovery. Either way, I don't see how both come back, because that would be eight in there counting Niblett.

Intent to portal vs. declaring for the draft. Two different deals.

Goosby, Baker, Wingo, Mosley, Kanu, Simmons, Jackson, Littleton, Phillips....

Good lord I would certainly hope so.

And we are free to mock him. The circle of life.

Glad we're all on the same page.

No offense taken. But please, explain how I am "week minded" because I want to use this game to our advantage as a springboard to 2026.

You say that as if it is a good thing, or anywhere remotely close to good. Like saying that a basketball player "still shot 20% from the field".

Grrrr! Use this game to our benefit for the 2026 season and beyond. This one is over.

I don't want to say we should treat this like an exhibition, but.... we should sort of treat this like an exhibition. Give Simon 15 carries and see what happens. Play Lockett most of the game. Get Lacey some snaps. That kind of stuff.

umm...

This is best for both parties. I can't imagine how much he would have to improve before having a role on next year's team. Dude averaged 2.8 YPC in conference games this year.

Well crap, I've thought this entire time that would be a night game. Swear I read that at some point.

The assumption is that Goosby is coming back.

For some reason getting the sh!t kicked out of them one day before the selections are made looks better to the committee than Texas losing in August at Ohio St. by one score. Because otherwise the resumes are very similar, with the edge probably going to Texas.
