    This ain’t amateur football any more. It is semi pro. I don’t envy these coaching staffs. Loyalty is spent with dollar signs now.

    Just because you enter the portal doesn’t mean you transfer right?It seems with all the agents and negotiations entering the portal is a way to try and maximize your capitalistic value. Wish he valued being a horn more than this. Okpala and Atkinson will need to grow up fast.

    Elkins has a surprisingly sweet stroke as well. He’s really a major contributor up there at the academy in Blairstown, NJ. I drink too much of the koolaid self admittedly … and, he and Sterling seem like they have some serious potential to do something at the next level. 6’10” guys hanging out on the wings isn’t my favorite but it seems to be the trend.

    Westlake boys are rippin’ the nets. Neither seem ultra athletic but they are pretty smooth and have several sots they seem to like.

    Goosby wants a year to be on campus with his little brother Austin on campus… the one who took a lot less money from Texas because this is where he wants to be.

    I think it is a win regardless of what Baugh does. This will be a major upgrade.

    We dog walked both Oklahoma and A&M… Alabama gets embarrassed by Oklahoma and Georgia… and is in with 3 losses. Texas is the most hated team in college football. We went from the most overhyped team in pre season to the most under rated(though slightly manic) team in the country. SOS… sending out an SOS! It should matter. I root for the little guys but having James Madison and Tulane in the playoffs is a joke. As money floods in the class of college football is eroding into the same poopoo the NFL has become.

    Bishop needs to put on some armor for college ball but he is a Worthy esque speed demon … with better hands hopefully. Jackson needs to have his receiver group show out next year… eliminate the drops.

    Glad this new playoff system has been so successful in eliminating the drama of previous years.

    Do you have some info you wish to share? I haven’t heard anything conclusive. He will look a lot different in the fall if he can stay healthy. He might have to take a pay cut but may want to graduate from here.

    Pressure will be off Campbell for a few years with this recent coaching hire/recruiting debacle.

    Klein is coaching the Aggie offense while putting together a coaching staff. The extra practices would be pretty hard to see. Building a rostwr may be more important than a meaningless bowl game.

    I hope Lott comes home to Texas but I get a feeling he is chasing a big bag.

    Our secondary could use some help as well. The offensive line is #1 & #2 though. Depending on what Wisner and Baxter do … running back seems important as well.

    He is Coleman Elkins. Baker was pretty solid for LSU… just didn’t stick around to develop.

    Tough win against non conference Alabama got us in a couple years ago.
