    Itute is better than Carlton. She's bigger and stronger than Justice. She played pro in Europe. Having said that, I love Carlton. Just like her manner.

    If Preston and Lee leave, we just need to add three from the portal to have 12 on our roster. I prefer the four stay, but it is what it is.

    With Lee and Preston it has to be money. With Crump and Justice it could be playing time. Itute and Crittendon are better than Carlton. And Bjorn is better than Crump. Jazzy Spaight and Holguin have quickness and are better outside shooters than Preston. I wish Lee would stay. We are Texas. We will fill the slots. I am beginning to reconcile the situation. What can we do? Just wish them well.

    I love Justice Carlton's game too. But if someone offers you twice as much money, it's hard to say no. But I think it's a mistake. Being a Longhorn Legend can set you up for life.

    I just hope our incoming freshmen don't back out. Just think, every year you have to teach a new batch of girls your defensive philosophy, system, etc. Just how it is nowadays.

    I don't know if I could be a head coach in this environment. Tennessee and Iowa State lost their entire team. I really was looking forward to seeing Crump blossom here. It's hard on fans because we invest so much on our team. I give monthly to women's hoops. I love women's basketball. This really disappoints me. I feel bad for our coaches.

    ....these are the most insincere, fake goodbye letters I have ever read. Why do athletes entering the portal feel as though these make a difference? Spare us the boorish words and just leave! They all sound the same and are likely written by AI. Just once, I would like to read one that speaks the truth, "My agent said he's been talking to a school that will triple my NIL money! Laters!"

    Joyce Edwards is a bit of a headcase. Raven Johnson gave up at halftime. Gabriela Jaquez was the energizer bunny all game. Betts is tough. Better UCLA than the gamecocks.

    I wonder how the team feels watching this game? I still can't believe Booker and Lee were that bad! I just hope Booker can get over it, because that is the kind of performance that can mess with your head for the rest of your life. Unfortunately, we have seen at least five replays today of Betts blocking that last shot while Lee was in her spot waiting to tie it up. Coach Vic will have to use all his experience to get her right.
