  1. We'll find out how much this offensive line has improved in these next two games that's for sure.
  2. SEC got it right for Texas. I know some would prefer LSU or Georgia over Arkansas, but Arkansas just made too much sense to be that tertiary permanent rival. Some of the other teams permanent opponents are a little shocking though.
  3. Sark seems to be opening up to the idea of more mobile QBs to run his offense, which I think you need in this era of football more than ever. Loved seeing some designed runs to get Arch engaged emotionally in this last game.
  4. Someone from Texas showed him the call from Tyler from Spartanburg and that’s got him thinking
  5. If Indiana beats Iowa in Kinnick, they will probably make the CFP as long as they take care of business in their games not named Oregon and Penn State. Even against Oregon and Penn State, they must keep it close for the committee to put them in at 10-2. Cignetti is a hell of a coach and is IU football’s version of Bob Knight. I can’t believe I thought IU made a mistake in letting Tom Allen go. This is why I could never be an athletic director lol
  6. Eh it is what it is. He’s going to the NFL after this season regardless of Clemson’s overall performance. I do like their WR Wesco though
  7. Baugh, Simon, Cooper, and Stewart would be a pretty nice RB room. You would have it all from power, speed, acceleration, vision, pass catching, and pass pro.
  8. Mike McDaniel might be available soon.
  9. I have a feeling this will be her last season in Austin. Texas can upgrade there for sure. CDC is not shy about making a move.
  10. Triple post
  11. Texas 34 SHSU 6
  12. Some of those players look appealing, but I would think Texas wants experienced guys in the portal if they go that route. No disrespect to Wilson, Mbatchou, etc., but have they played any meaningful snaps at UF yet? Baugh would be a great get at RB for sure.
  13. If it’s a coach from their defensive staff, I would be much more excited. Stopping UF’s offense won’t be a problem regardless of who’s on their offensive staff.
  14. Btw, Alex Mirabal might be the best OL coach in college football.
  15. That’s almost every Kyle Flood OL since he’s been at Texas. This OL, for all its faults, has only given up 2 sacks through 3 games. Run blocking continues to be head scratching in year 5.
  16. At least DeMeco's side of the ball is the strongest part of his football team and he's the defensive play caller too.
  17. Yep that's helped PK build his defense into what it is today. Since he has a position coach for every room on defense, he can focus exclusively on game planning.
  18. Obviously that's great and I'm happy for those guys to make it to the league, but can Flood's group play as one cohesive unit at Texas? Can they avoid the constant false starts and holding calls we've seen every season he's been here?
  19. With UCLA and VT kicking off their coaching searches this early, I wonder if UF decides to pull the trigger on Billy Napier if he gets blown out by Miami? A close loss and obviously a win over Miami would get him to the Texas game and he would have a chance to get a big win and save his job for the rest of the regular season. But I bet he’s the next to go.
  20. Bell's had a rough go in high school with back-to-back season ending injuries. Get well soon, young man.
  21. No one's job on the offensive staff should be safe if this is the product that they put on the field for the rest of the season besides maybe Chad Scott since he just got here. No reason Texas shouldn't be top 10 in almost every major offensive category from Sark's third year on. The offensive product has been the same every year of Sark's Texas tenure. Better players from the portal would help a little bit, but I think a four and a fourth season sample size tells me it's systemic.
  22. Doubt that will change this season unless Wisner, Simon, or Clark break a big one in conference play. Sark has to hit the portal hard and find a guy at RB, even with Derrek Cooper coming in. Not sure if the run blocking is something that can be fixed and it is what it is at this point.
