    Yes she is a very good player. This is why getting Aaliyah Crump back from her foot injury is so important as they get into conference play and the tourney. Crump provides another scorer and shooter when Booker, Lee, and Harmon have an off-shooting night. But it's good to have games like this to test how good they are at closing out these teams.

    Maybe. I think Texas will be the best team for sure once Crump comes back and gets back up to speed like Preston and Judd did. I thought UConn would miss Paige Bueckers more, but maybe we won’t see that until the Elite Eight or later if that’s the case. That’s why Geno Auriemma is the GOAT though.

    Hope Aaliyah Crump can get healthy soon. Those back to back road trips @ LSU and @ South Carolina are gonna be tough. But this team might be so good it might not matter. LSU was upset by Kentucky at home on New Year’s Day and Texas already beat South Carolina on Thanksgiving.

    Indiana is the play for sure. Josh Hoover is a better QB than Mateer and Mike Shanahan is a better OC than Ben Arbuckle. He has a chance to make a big jump there next season like Omar Cooper Jr., Elijah Sarratt, and Charlie Becker did this season.

    While I agree that Flood is on the hot seat, if Texas wins out and his OL is a big reason why, he gets another year. I bet he would’ve been canned already if they had lost to OU or didn’t come back to beat Mississippi State.

    I agree with this. Look at how hard Texas went in the portal to rebuild their interior DL after the departure of Bo Davis. That combined with improved high school IDL recruiting by Kenny Baker, and better NIL allocation to that position group, has allowed them the luxury of only needing one interior DL in the portal heading into the 2026 season. Depending on how the 2026 high school IDL class finishes, they may not have to take any portal IDL for the 2027 season on, as long as the guys they signed out of high school develop into really good players. I think some fans want to see a similar portal haul for the OL and hopefully not have to bring in multiple portal OL after 2026.

    Or does it mean they now have freed up NIL to have a 5 man high school OL class because the staff doesn’t think they will end up with more than 3 high school interior DL players after Berymon’s decommitment and the pressure other schools NIL collectives are putting on their guys to stay put?

    Winning your conference means NOTHING in this expanded CFP since it no longer guarantees you a first round bye, or unless you’re OU because they used to do it so much. Since there’s no incentive for winning the SEC, and a potential injury risk from playing in a game like that, the most important thing is to make the CFP. If you win out (beating a 1-loss Georgia and undefeated Aggy in the process) you’ll probably be a top 4 ranked team and get a first round bye.

    I know it's mostly about $$$ than on field performance, but LSU's current roster and high school recruiting class are in danger of being picked apart when the on field product is this incompetent.
