    I don't think any university will top what Florida athletics did in 2006-07, but I could be wrong.

    I think in a few years, Coach Bates will have an SEC championship and national championship level program in women’s college soccer at Texas. One of the few sports out of the 21 to never win a natty at Texas. Excited to see what she can do in year one. I know their season overlaps with football and women’s indoor volleyball, but I’ll definitely tune into a few soccer games this season.

    And to think there were fans 20+ years ago that were upset Texas didn’t get Adrian Peterson. Jamaal Charles was a fantastic consolation prize and it ended up working out for both players in the end.

    Looks like a 12-6 or 13-5 type of SEC record to me. Hopefully that’s good enough for a top 4 finish in the SEC for the double bye in the SEC tournament and bodes well for them seeding wise in the NCAA Tournament.
