  1. That makes sense. I’ve been listening to the OTF podcast and they said the secondary should be more physical.
  2. I believe Texas lost their top 5 tacklers from last season? I definitely think last years secondary and DL will be better than this years.
  3. Sayin is 210 now. But either way, height doesn’t matter in CFB. Day was comparing their accuracy and processing speeds.
  4. Paul Finebaum CFB Nerds Josh Pate Ari Wasserman Andy Staples All national media that has picked Texas. I don’t think I’ve seen any pick Ohio State.
  5. Yeah, if Texas is getting to Sayin that easily, it won’t matter, Ohio states already lost.
  6. I think both QB’s will have their moments, but I think fans who are expecting this to be Peyton Manning vs Tom Brady are going to be disappointed.
  7. What I am most excited to see with Julian Sayin is his elite “processing speed” that we have always heard about.
  8. This is 100% right, but like my fellow Buckeye pointed out, whether it’s on screens or reverses, Smith is going to get the ball a minimum of 8-10 times. They’ll make sure of that.
  9. Honestly, it isn’t something I have thought about. Thanks now I won’t be able to sleep! My philosophy is height doesn’t matter until you get to the NFL. I don’t think it’ll be an issue.
  10. I think the biggest reason Texas won’t be able to sell out to stop Jeremiah is because we didn’t have a Max Klare on the roster.
  11. Yeah for sure. I think us Ohio State fans need to accept that there are going to be ugly moments from Julian Sayin on Saturday. Now hopefully they don’t cost Ohio State too much, but there will be times (or maybe the entire game) that he struggles.
  12. Arch is definitely the prototype of exactly what you would want your NFL QB to look like. I can’t wait for this one.
  13. When Texas can compete with the Georgia’s and Ohio State’s of the world, then I’ll answer your questions. Until then, your just Penn State
  14. Why would I leave this message board?
  15. Ohio State is motivated as well. Despite being the national champions, Texas is the #1 team coming to their house, and not many people think Ohio State will win.
  16. No, Day doesn’t do that. He lets his QB learn from his mistake for every games before realizing that a change needs to be made
  17. Buddy, you are reading way too much into things Ryan Day says before every big game
  18. Several were high, several were into triple coverage. Again, Arch was better than I thought he would be. I see the potential now. Just hopefully he hasn’t learned from those mistakes yet, because if he reaches his potential against Ohio State, Ohio State probably isn’t winning. Also, you’re 100% right abour Sayin. He is not even close to a finished product. He is going to make mistakes against Texas, just hopefully they aren’t too costly.
  19. Boys and girls, it is going to be ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL on Saturday. High of 70, slight breeze, no rain and plenty of sunshine.
  20. Wouldn’t surprise me one bit. I watched every one of Arch Manning’s throws from last year. He’s better than I thought. However, it seemed like anytime he faced pressure he just threw the ball into double or triple coverage or rushed a short pass that was off the mark. That’ll come with experience so hopefully he hasn’t learned to deal with pocket pressure in the off season or it could be a long day for Ohio State.
