    Indeed it is; I'm wondering if it is a. them wanting to move on, and they had a reason and pulled the trigger (doubtful) or b. something legal forcing action immediately.

    I won't rant about the. moral issues, or the plain stupidity of a person in a position of authority over so many young athletes doing this, but - 1. how did he find the time and energy for this???? JK of course, and 2. a story about my wife and I years ago on the deck having some wine. She abruptly asked me "Paul, have you ever cheated on me?" My response was "honey, one of youse is enough!" P

    True, but as said in other posts, scout team needs to evaluate for a fit here. Fingers crossed.

    This is spot on. Every NFL draft we see players taken from DII and DIII schools (and lower) that flourish. Scouts spot the potential.

    This, folks, is the mess that we ALL made - the planners, the coaches, and us, the fans. We were mad when ou played for the natty and we were out with 1 loss, so we wanted a playoff. We got it. 4 teams. Then we said, 'that aint enuf!' and expanded now out to 12. There is no magic number, guys. Someone will always be left outside looking in, and this year it's us, and Vandy. Maybe another couple of teams. We were, in essence, not ready for our season this year. Tough schedule - yes; blown easy game - yes; and nail-biter games that were just as an influence as the osu and Florida games. Take it; build on it; and come out with a passion next season. Begin by giving the players and fans what they saw in the aggy game - DOMINATION - in the bowl game. Destroy the opponent. Then the snowball with start to roll. HookEm.

    The previous post(s) about cupcake scheduling hit the nail on the head, IMO - the networks won't stand for it. I grew up watching the OSU - Michigan, Texas - OU, and Alabama - Auburn games, and I have no skin in the game. Networks want to extend this to OOC games to Get the same results with folks watching a true marquee matchup.

    I think that some humans really want to fret about stuff that they cannot control. If the coaches are good (and I believe Sark is) at what they do, they will find players to fill the holes. Last year was an anomaly and will not happen again; The University of Texas at Austin is not a leper colony, and CDC knows what he's doing.

    For the life of me, I will NEVER understand why a team message board becomes a site where folks are railing on others. I am leaving other sites for this reason alone, so let's just root for Texas programs and save the negative bullshit for the other guys.
