  1. The previous post(s) about cupcake scheduling hit the nail on the head, IMO - the networks won't stand for it. I grew up watching the OSU - Michigan, Texas - OU, and Alabama - Auburn games, and I have no skin in the game. Networks want to extend this to OOC games to Get the same results with folks watching a true marquee matchup.
  2. I think that some humans really want to fret about stuff that they cannot control. If the coaches are good (and I believe Sark is) at what they do, they will find players to fill the holes. Last year was an anomaly and will not happen again; The University of Texas at Austin is not a leper colony, and CDC knows what he's doing.
  3. Man, @CJ Vogel, they look like they could play another quarter!
  4. AND dummies running around with blades.
  5. THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS @ AUSTIN - 35 aggy - 31
  6. For the life of me, I will NEVER understand why a team message board becomes a site where folks are railing on others. I am leaving other sites for this reason alone, so let's just root for Texas programs and save the negative bullshit for the other guys.
  7. Guys - let's direct all this angst towards aggy next Friday. 🤘
  8. Is that a bottle or an enema???
  9. @Gerry Hamilton does have a funny-shaped head, come to think of it👀
  10. I can attest to that, level one! Seriously - to think that home and family doesn't factor in on a decision - unless the increase in money warrants it - is insane.
  11. THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT AUSTIN LONGHORNS - 42 PIG CITY - 17
  12. It was a bit pathetic.
  13. You are probably correct, and the buck stops at the coaching staff.
  14. @Jeff Howe, it just seems that the coaching staff at times is going through the motions. I'm probably wrong - I hope I am - but the cohesiveness isn't there. No fire in the belly. This will always boil down to coaching, and I am not dwelling on the HC other than managing assistant coaches and coordinators in whatever way necessary to make Texas get over the hump. Something is broken, and quite frankly Sark needs to get his head out of the playbook and head coach.
