    Texas believes Shedrick is going to have a strong season now that he is healthy and has off season with the tremendous S&C coach. The big Texas take in the portal will be the No. 2 big that will be very good in a role next season. The UCLA kid is intriguing because he would be a multi-year portal player, and is skilled. He has to rebound better, however IMO.

    Portal Kombat: Two hoops transfers to know New Mexico freshman 6-9 forward JT Toppin is a name to know for Texas fans. Toppin had a tremendous freshman campaign averaging 12.4 points and 9.1 rebounds in 36 games, including 35 starts. He's the younger brother of Obi Toppin.     100% true. That district was also so good back then too. Imagine not making the playoffs due to one team getting in, and watching so many teams you were better than throughout the playoffs.

    Texas and Oklahoma State big man Brandon Garrison will not be getting married. The Longhorns have some other bigs they like more as a fit.

    Not 100% sure. Even if he is, he needs some time IMO. Texas is looking for another big for sure. Rytis was that swing forward, and they wanted him badly.

    Texas adds Vanderbilt transfer guard The Texas Longhorns added one more perimeter player to the roster Monday. Vanderbilt transfer 6-6 guard Malik Presley (San Marcos, Texas/High) announced he will join the Texas program. Presley will provide depth in 2024-25, and will fight for minutes in the two years following. Presley averaged 2.2 points, 1.6 rebounds and 0.5 assists as a freshman.. He appeared in 26 games with five starts in 2023-24. Presley continues the Texas goal of having bigger options in the backcourt moving forward. He's the second 6-6 left handed guard to join the program out of the portal.

    I believe they make around 75-80 million a year ... which is very impressive. Having been there 25+ times over the years, it's an amazing campus, facilities, Power 5/pro like set up and awesome location - beach, weather, year round training weather, two airports, etc... It's extremely well run on top of all of it.

    Saw Kevin Patton at Pangos Camp in LV prior to senior season. I'm a big fan of his upside. Would be a very good replacement for Rytis P.
