Two more expected 4-star++ spring visitors The March and April visitor list is beginning to take shape around March 27-29 and April 12. Texas swinging big in Mississippi ... Four-star++ EDGE and one-time LSU pledge JaReylan McCoy (Tupelo, Miss./High) is scheduled to make an unofficial visit to Texas March 29. McCoy, 6-foot-6 and 250-pounds, is also scheduled to make UOV's this spring to Ole Miss, Texas A&M, LSU, Florida, Miami and possible Georgia. McCoy's camp had been hoping the Longhorns would begin making a push for a while, and tha is now happening. The hurdle for Texas will be there isn't currently a June OV weekend available for Texas. McCoy has Florida May 30-June 2, Ole Miss June 6-8 (the likely favorite now), Texas A&M and LSU. Auburn takes their OV swing in May. Reclass 4-star++ corner to visit ... Add another high-end prospect out of California that plans to visit in March or April. Recent reclass corner Havon Finney Jr. (Chatsworth, Calif./Sierra Canyon) tells OnTexasFootball that he will be on campus this spring. And that there is a also a June OV possibility for the Horns. Finney, 6-foot and 170 with long arms, has Texas in a lead group that includes Oregon, UCLA and Ohio State. Michigan and LSU are also in the mix.

About to be four years, and four NCAA Tournaments at Iowa State ... two Sweet 16's in first three years. Took over a dreadful situation and flipped it very quick. Plays a quality style ... 72 possessions per game ... average 80 PPG on season in a very tough league. Very good transition offensive coach. Very good spacing and feel for the modern offensive game Has proven to be a very solid talent evaluator and roster developer His Iowa State team has had some injury adversity this season, and he's powered through it well.

I would want him if he was interested. Terrific offensive coach. Got to have an offensive maximizer these days in CBK IMO... he's that level. Many coaches run a lot of the action the NBA teams do, but it's not a long list who can coach it in game (adjust, counters, etc..) .... he would be one. But hear he's fine in the NBA. He has a house in Austin, and loves the city. So he's been associated with the job prior, and Texas would hire him if he had interest.

Some notes ... Jai Lucas is a done deal to Miami. Will be announced in time ... will he take Shelton Henderson with him? Very likely. What about the Boozer twins deciding to stay home? We shall see. And which former HC will be his associate HC? Someone will be Beard doing everything he can to try and get Indiana. Still hearing Scott Drew is ahead. I expect to keep hearing Quin Snyder associated with Texas rumors, or when the job comes open. He loves Austin, house a house in Austin, etc... but that doesn't mean he would leave 8mill a year in the NBA.
