lol The backlash behind closed doors is real ... I hear. They will get games, but some absolutely think it was ridiculous what Tech tried with Sorsby. That lost respect ... but there is also the element of Tech having quite a bit of NIL juice too

Texas remains No. 5 in Gary Parrish top 25 and 2 ranking https://www.cbssports.com/college-basketball/news/college-basketball-rankings-preseason-top-25-and-1-arizona-north-carolina/

I've never heard of that type of coach evaluation. There are so many sets of eyes in personnale departments and coaches and scouts at this point, plus video and analytics breakdowns

It's really an unknown at this point on ... Johnson, Punch, Freeman and Goosby. They do believe the talent level being this high, there will be 1-2 from the starting five that go. Goosby is more likely to be 2 years, as of today, but if he shoots it well this season he will fly up draft boards because of the upside skill set and frame. Freeman could be a big riser too IMO, if he makes a few more plays for others in the flow to go with his elite athleticism and natural ascension in year two of high-major hoops

NBADraft.net ... 2028 mock has 3 Texas players in first round ... https://www.nbadraft.net/nba-mock-drafts/?year-mock=2028 2 in second round in 2027 ... https://www.nbadraft.net/nba-mock-drafts/?year-mock=2027 And that doesn't include Austin Goosby, who will be a first rounder either in 2027 or 2028 (likely two years as of today)

He will play OT in college IMO. He's got tackle feet, flexibility, agility and body quickness. I do think his athleticism has to carry over to all important reactive quickness against high-end EDGE athletes, but he has the athletic tools for it. As far as a senior year at Gilmer, it definitely won't advance his development ... but his junior tape he didn't match up with an SEC or Power 4 player playing OT, so already imited in that regard.

I don’t think he plays in current Tennessee offense But let’s see how good actually is in a couple of years. He not a big kid, as of today

100% ... Bryson Warren signed them with ... Knicks https://www.nba.com/knicks/news/new-york-knicks-sign-bryson-warren-to-an-exhibit-10-contract Heat https://hothothoops.com/2024/09/11/miami-heat-sign-bryson-warren-exhibit-10-contract/ Texas looked into him, and didn't think he would ultimately get eligible.

I hope he and Sark didn't have a red zone or late game conversation ... "When in the red zone or late in game in the NBA Finals, throw it to your 7-6 PF 28 feet away from the basket for a fall away three"
