    Losing to UTSA should never be on the menu. Texas has lost not once but twice to this bunch. They don’t have a single adv over Texas in any capacity. This would be one of the most embarrassing losses or outcomes in a while. This team better figure it out fast. Losing to UCLA in a super is one thing but UTSA at home in a regional. No.

    Spot on Blake. Situational baseball with runners on 1sr and 2nd were atrocious. You have to scratch a run in that situation. If Texas simply executes laying down a bunt, you can likely add two more runs on the board. We shift on defense and ARod can’t throw the guy out at first. That’s the whole purpose. That started the slide imo and Harrison did the rest to let UTSA climb back in. Baseball is about doing a job and executing a game plan. Texas didn’t do that at all. Texas looking at 3rd strike pitches is infuriating along with the double digit Ks. Embarrassing loss. Texas threw their best arms and got beat. Harrison, Grubbs, Burns and Volantis.

    This team couldn’t make routine plays on ground balls, strikes out way too much and couldn’t lay down a bunt in a situational moment. I wouldn’t bet on anything. We haven’t played well since the Aggy series. UTSA was also the more hungry team. Very disappointing effort.

    He took the money and he’ll put up stats in a weaker league. Winning and being on the big stage is what he missed. You never know what May open in the next portal either. Also, Tech is good at overpaying for a few players but not a complete roster. That’s not how win. They had a good portal for them because of cash but it will only take you so far. Arizona St has a better coach.
