    I want a 10 seed but we don’t deserve that break. The die has been cast for this team. We deserve an 8 or 9 to get set up for a real butt kicking in the 2nd round if we even get that far to be honest. Too inconsistent and terrible losses are littered across the schedule.

    What are your thoughts on Hunter and Mitchell? I personally think they should move on. I don’t see us getting anyone in the portal that will be anywhere near high end with these two still on campus. I hope Johnson sees the big picture. He’s already bounced from KU so this would be his 3rd program in less than 2 years.

    Texas HAS to get Scott and Johnson to campus. That’s step 1. Texas has to strike gold in the portal. I don’t know who would comeback at this point. Abmas, Disu, Cunningham, Horton and Hunter are gone. I am fairly certain Mitchell will follow. Does Chris Johnson stay? The only two I feel comfortable staying is Weaver and Shedrick.

    9 seed but I wish they would really “punish”’ Texas for the underachieving loss with a 10 seed.

    You can’t shoot 4-23 for 17 percent and expect to win. You can blame officials all you want but they don’t shoot the basketball in games. Our shooting absolutely sucked and it’s why we’re packing our bags heading home. Texas is wildly inconsistent. This season has met the bare minimum of expectations making the tournament but that’s it.

    I don’t get why Texas isn’t a 7 when just about every metric has Texas inside the top 25. Heck they are a borderline 6 by that measure. I don’t get it but yeah we need to get a 7 seed. That would give Texas a chance to reach the sweet 16. Texas isn’t beating a 1 seed in the 2nd round. Texas has beaten KStete and didn’t play well. They could have beaten Iowa St if not for an atrocious 1st half.

    Looking at the metrics, Texas looks like it should be a 7 seed. Everything has Texas better than the 28th spot. Beat KState and I think they will. Upset Iowa St and it’s a guarantee.

    Outside of LBJ it’s very suspect. I hope we found something in Boehm as a closer.

    Texas beats Tech 9-7 in the rubber match. Nice bounce back on the road too.Hopefully it’s a sign of good things to come. Texas leaving Lubbock/Tech with a dub in their final trip. They won’t play again for a long time.

    I have no expectations for this team after going 0-3 and getting embarrassed by the SEC. Even if we go on a run it’s because the Big 12 is a shell of what we’ll run into next year. If Texas were in the SEC this year, they would struggle to make a regional. Pitching is an issue. Both starting outside of LBJ and the pen. I’m just going to watch and hope for the best

    Akylin Dear is an intriguing player. Texas is obviously pushing with Choice speaking to him daily. A Davison and Dear class is probably too much to ask.

    Harris is a pass for me at WR. The state of Texas is loaded and those options alone are better in my opinion. Also if we are going to look OOS I like the Jacksonville receiver and Mississippi receiver kid better.

    Embarrassing loss. Run off the diamond by A$M in Austin. A$M money whipped an elite coach in Schlossnagle and got him. The difference is significant. Texas “settled” for Pierce. I don’t get it and Texas is the baseball powerhouse.

    @Blake Munroe thoughts? pitching was UGLY giving up 31 runs, blowing an 8 run lead and falling to Texas St is terrible. Another season and another poor showing in a major league ball park. Texas sure knows how to embarrass themselves in these settings. 0-6 the last two years I believe. Talk me off the ledge Blake.
