I thought this was the only program in college football that was immune to down seasons, but even in the NIL/Rev Share/Enhanced Portal era, that is not the case apparently. This is going to be their worst season since 2004. The 2011 team is their worst this century record wise, but they were dealing with the aftermath of Tattoogate and termination of Jim Tressel.

This version of “The Game” will be the least hyped since the late John Cooper/Lloyd Carr era in like 2000. Pretty wild to see both programs in free fall at the same time like this.

Imagine not having a backup QB you can rely on.

Sanchez would probably go to A&M or Alabama over us. I don’t think he seriously considered us

The appetite would be ravenous. Muschamp might go Buddy Ryan on Sarkisian if we had a legitimate shot at getting those two and didn't make it happen.

There were some other factors at play for Pettijohn, but of course he would have to declare for the portal in the first place.

If he does, I would watch it heavily.

The parents are tweeting parents, and were unhappy with the ov if I'm not mistaken. Would be interesting to see if the family and Texas would fix the relationship

Depends on who the LB coach is next year but I would think we would pass on toxicity.
