    Looking back, 2002, 2008, and especially 2009 were all a case of bad luck. Natties were there for the taking in all of those seasons, but didn’t happen. For the record, I think Texas wins it all in ‘02 and either ‘08 or ‘09 if the CFP was a thing back then.

    Yeah 3 seasons down, 10 more to go to match Texas’ down period this century. Hope Sark can have a nice long winning streak over them in Dallas like DKR did. So bad they quit bringing the Golden Hat to the game because it just stays in Austin. Enjoying them eating some humble pie after messing up a 20+ year national championship window though.

    No reason Texas as a team shouldn’t be averaging 200+ yards rushing per game with the talent at OL. Besides the Georgia game, proud of how far the run blocking of this unit has come on in the latter half of this season. Best run blocking I’ve seen in the Sark/Flood era.

    Lotta Bama fans wondering why 5-star Bryce Young wasn’t playing instead of Mac Jones. They were thinking Jones has been here this long. Probably not good enough to see the field. Plus this stud 5-star is sitting on the bench. Boy were they wrong.

    Quinn Simms unless he wins a natty to some of the fanbase. After watching the QBs in this CFP, gimme #3 all day. Arch fumbled the ball with a chance to ice the game. Ewers audibled into the two big Blue runs for TDs. Manning might be better long term, but too green for this season. Reminds me a little of the Mac Jones-Bryce Young situation in 2020.
