  1. Penn State over Florida State? Penn State over Nebraska? Penn State over Florida? I guess we need an operational definition of "blue blood". Lot's of recency bias in that list, but agree, interesting conversation.🤘
  2. I don't think it's any coincidence that Sark's X account tweeted - "THE PRIDE AND WINNING TRADITION OF THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WILL NOT BE ENTRUSTED TO THE WEAK OR TIMID" this weekend. I think the Duncanville kid burned that bridge. Good luck to his family, they seem like good people.
  3. @Blake Munroe any chance he ever sees campus or is he a MLB draft lock? Looks like he's projected in upper half of draft?
  4. He's ditching the arm bands, too? Hope DMo gets healed and on the field this year.
  5. Good luck to all the Gulf Coast and ETX folks 🤘
  6. I’m 50 and you’re still using HDMI? …but be real clear about the current state of NIL for me?
  7. Take the L, @CJ Vogel. This says more about the state of group think in Texas recruiting circles and lack of legitimate info than anything else. Unless y'all are going to share more on how your info went so wrong? ..and not just allusions to "NIL". Got any real numbers? Got any real info?
  8. When Stoops took Peterson and Tommie Harris and Bomar and others out of Texas, we thought TEXAS would never win another game against OU. We went on a pretty good run after those recruiting losses. It all worked out. Given we won't see Oregon until a playoff game, these recruiting "losses" don't sting as much.
  9. Apparently you weren't around for early aughts? OU did what they pleased in Texas.
  10. I respect Bobby and Gerry more than anyone in the industry, and I know they love B. Brown, but losing an undersized DT isn't a program killer. I'm sure Bo has convinced him he's the next Byron Murphy II, but we'll see. As Bobby alluded to this afternoon, these DT threads remind me of all the desperate Edge conversations barely a year ago. Posters soiled theyselves after Ochaun Mathis picked Nebraska over Texas last summer. Turns out everything worked just fine.
  11. I agree, but is one healthy year enough to vault him into the first round?
  12. The closest person left around our programs is Craig Way. John Bianco probably has some stories, too. ….but you’re right, there won’t be another Bill Little🤘
  13. Weigman in the first round strains credulity, but that doesn’t preclude some dumb NFL exec from actually making that pick.
  14. ...and why do we care about Kansas St?
  15. Pretty damn perfect job by Schloss recruiting last year's roster 🤘
  16. Appreciate the work, @EHoff99. I haven't been keeping up with class rankings much, but was surprised to see us at ~ #16 after Orogbo committed. It's early and we have far fewer recruits than most of the classes ahead of us, but I like being informed in the event that I run into some Aggies over the holiday weekend.
  17. Damn, just donated but they're only up to $4K? Long way to go.
  18. The cool thing is that if you care about Riley Pettijohn and other recruitments, you can break out your own checkbook and add to the TEXAS checkbook - https://www.texasonefund.org
  19. Didn't know that, thanks!
  20. Yeah, it's weird, I think you need to specifically search for "LHN (Longhorn Network)".
  21. The new LHN app is available on app stores for Android and Apple.
  22. That crowd got a bit out of hand there at the end. Had no idea Pitbull was that popular.
  23. When it was time to work, the long tunic would get in the way. They brought the loose ends and tucked them into the girdle, which gave their legs freedom of movement. This was called girding up your loins. In the Gospel usage, girding up your loins means to prepare yourself, work hard, and give service in the kingdom. 🤘
  24. Led or 50/50 battle or “in the mix”? He thought we led on Sharma, but if you have followed recruiting for any time at all, you should know 70% is hardly a confident pick.
