  1. Back to back sacks….huge for S.Car
  2. South Carolina probably only needs one more score but offenses have struggled.
  3. I think Green will play. They pulled him when the game got out of hand. He returned to play after his knee, but down 4+ scores, it wasn’t worth it.
  4. Start Arch against Hogs as they cannot defend a deep ball? (Only half kidding)
  5. Last 2 punts, Ole Miss turned immediately. If it’s a shorter distance to go, look for an Ark fake.
  6. Ole Miss starting to pull away. Hogs may be embarrassed.
  7. I’m going to modify this statement and give it to my wife to crack down on fake “headaches”. I’ll send it to the married men if needed.
  8. This better not be about Heinz coming out with a new mustard/mayo combo…
  9. @Bobby Burton - following up on your talk about penalties this morning - here is what the stats show. I broke down the penalties by the P4 conferences, and then everyone else. (Note these stats are complied by the Team, not necessarily the crew calling an out of conference game). The Big 10 calls by far the least amount of penalties; while the SEC calls the most penalties, and most severe penalties (most yards per penalty) BIG 10 (124 Games) Avg Penalties Per Game: 5.37; Avg Yards per penalty: 8.71; BIG 12 (134 Games) Avg Penalties Per Game: 5.78; Avg Yards per penalty: 8.70; ACC (150 Games) Avg Penalties Per Game: 6.1; Avg Yards per penalty: 8.85; ALL OTHER CONFERENCES Avg Penalties Per Game: 6.43 Avg Yards per penalty: 8.77; SEC (124 Games) Avg Penalties Per Game: 6.85; Avg Yards per penalty: 8.97;
  10. Looking to take my 10 and 13 year old so location not too important. My 10 year old is undefeated in person (3-0), my 13 year old has only seen one loss (8-1)
  11. I bet Vandy +18.5. (Took Georgia +4.5 - and using these funds for a playoff trip). That’s a quote that goes around. If Texas wants to be a great team, they blow out the teams they are supposed to blow out. hopping Sark has a few answers on this bye week
  12. I stayed off the boards after the game to watch the World Series, and just listened to the post game. They mentioned Sark’s playing calling near the end of the game, but didn’t mention his second down play call the 2min warning was still applicable so running on first down was important. 1st and Goal with 2:49 - run; ball is set quickly so Texas had to run a second play before the 2min warning (I think 7-9 seconds) 2nd and Goal with 2:07 - incomplete pass, leaving 2 seconds before the 2min warning If you run there, clock goes to the 2min warning 3rd and Goal (2:02) - run and then clock stops for 2min warning if you’re playing for a FG, then you run and 2nd down - take the clock to the 2min warning, run on 3rd and either run the clock to 1:30 or force Vandy to use its second timeout if you were playing for a FG, you run on 2nd, go to 2-min warning and then throw on 3rd where you can install you play during the TO
  13. Agree OU’s line is dog $hit, and Texas’ is probably top 15….i was using an extreme example how quick it can change. OU was pretty dominate on the OL last year. If Texas loses 4 of 5 starters it cannot miss on evals.
  14. I wonder if the struggles on the OL are causing the coaches to reconsider paying up to get Fasusi? The SEC defenses having given our DL problems and we cannot miss on those guys. You see what’s happening at OU.
  15. “Good teams win, Great teams cover”
  16. Someone send Brian Kelly the “Defending Zone Read” for dummies book that was published in the early 2000s.
  17. I hope they took the Joe Moore sign down from the locker/meeting rooms.
  18. Fasusi cannot be watching these games thinking - it’ll be better when I’m starting as a freshman. Early paying time is great, but if the other 4 guys suck, it’ll make you look worse.
  19. Someone will want a refund on their NIL investments
  20. Line has dropped to -17.5. Last time the line dropped close to game time was Georgia. Hopefully it’s cynical Texas fans and not sharp money.
  21. Agree, I think Vandy will shorten the game, even when down two scores. Vandy gets a late score to make it closer than it was. Texas 27-Vandy 19
  22. [raises hand] “pick me, pick me….thats easy, it’s Quinn Ewers throwing everything off his back foot, escaping clean pockets, not willing to climb in a pocket, and lack of mobility”
  23. May have done more good to have him go to Norman today.
