BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS (March 1, 2025)-----The Texas A&M men’s track and field team and the Arkansas women’s track and field team claimed the 2025 SEC Indoor Championships here Saturday at R.A. ‘Murray’ Fasken Indoor Track. This marks the first SEC indoor title for Texas A&M and the 15th overall SEC indoor title for the Arkansas women and 11th in a row. The Texas A&M men won with 107.5 points, followed by Arkansas (102), Oklahoma (56.5), Ole Miss (56.5), Alabama (48), Auburn (47), Tennessee (38), South Carolina (36), Georgia (34.5), Missouri (33), LSU (30.5), Kentucky (21), Mississippi State (19.5), Texas (16) and Florida (15). The Arkansas women won with 117.5 points, followed by Oklahoma (62), LSU (60.33), Georgia (57), Texas A&M (47.33), Tennessee (47), South Carolina (42), Auburn (40.33), Alabama (37.5), Kentucky (36), Florida (34), Texas (32), Ole Miss (22), Missouri (13), Vanderbilt (13) and Mississippi State (1). The men’s title came down to the 4x400 relay with the Aggies clinching the title with a winning time of 3:03.09. The Arkansas women maintained a distant lead throughout the day. Meet records were set in two events on Saturday: Georgia’s Aaliyah Butler in the women’s 400m with a 49.78 and Auburn’s Makanakaishe Charamba in the men’s 200m (20.13). BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS (Feb. 28, 2025)-----The Texas A&M men and the Oklahoma women lead the SEC Indoor Track and Field Championships after the second day of competition here Friday at R.A. ‘Murray’ Fasken Track. Seven events on the men’s side have been scored, while five women’s events have been scored. Texas A&M leads the men’s standings with 40.5 points, while Ole Miss (39.5) stands second, Oklahoma (37.5) is third, and Alabama and Arkansas are tied for fourth with 32 points. Georgia (23.5) is sixth, followed by Tennessee (21), Missouri (12), Texas (8), LSU (7.5), South Carolina (6), Auburn (6), Kentucky (4), Florida (2) and Mississippi State (1.5). Oklahoma leads the women’s standings with 34 points, ahead of Arkansas (32), Auburn (19), LSU (19), and Ole Miss (15) to round out the top-five. Kentucky and Texas A&M are tied for sixth with 13 points, followed by Florida (11), Texas (10), Vanderbilt (9), Alabama (8), South Carolina (8), Tennessee (3) and Mississippi State (1). Texas A&M’s Blake Harris won the men’s heptathlon on Friday with a personal-best 5,800 points. He placed first in the 60m and the 60m hurdles. Ole Miss’ Tarik Robinson-O’Hagan won the men’s weight throw with a record 24.35m/79-10.75, breaking the previous mark set by Florida’s Thomas Mardal (24.16m/79-3.25). Kentucky’s Kate Powers won the women’s weight throw with a toss of 22.13m/72-7.25. Oklahoma’s Kyren Washington claimed the men’s high jump with a leap of 2.25m/7-4.25. The final day of the SEC Indoor Track and Field Championships will begin Saturday at 2 p.m. with field events. The meet can be seen live on SECN+.

Murray Fasken Indoor Track. Four events in each gender were scored on the opening day of competition. Texas A&M leads the men’s standings with 30.5 points, while Tennessee (21) is second, Arkansas (20) is third, Alabama (19) is fourth and Georgia (17.5) is fifth. Oklahoma is sixth with 16.5 points, followed by Ole Miss (14.5), South Carolina (6), Missouri (4), Texas (4), Kentucky (2) and Florida (1). Arkansas leads the women’s standings with 32 points, while Oklahoma (31) standings second, LSU (19) is third, Texas A&M (13) is fourth and Florida (11) is fifth. Texas (10) is sixth, ahead of Vanderbilt (9), Alabama (8), Auburn (8), South Carolina (8), Kentucky (3), Ole Miss (3) and Mississippi State (1). Oklahoma’s Pippi Lotta Enok won the women’s pentathlon with 4,593 points. She placed first in the pentathlon high jump and second in the shot put, long jump and 800m. Arkansas’ Gabriel Emmanuel leads the men’s heptathlon with 3,287 first day points. Arkansas’ Patrick Kiprop won the men’s 5,000m with a time of 13:37.52. The Razorbacks also won the women’s 5,000m as Paityn Noe finished with a meet record 15:11.27, topping the meet record set last year by Arkansas’ Sydney Thorvaldson (15:42.45). Another record fell on Thursday as Kentucky’s Carli Makarawu set a new mark in the prelims of the men’s 200m with a time of 20.20. The previous record was set by Terrance Laird of LSU in 2021. In the distance medley relays, Texas A&M won the men’s DMR in a meet record 9:23.92 and LSU won the women’s DMR in 10:50.15. Georgia freshman Jaden Keys won the men’s long jump with a leap of 7.92m/26-0, Oklahoma’s Jasmine Akins won the women’s long jump with a mark of 6.62m/21-8.75, and Tennessee’s Blake Sifferlin won the men’s pole vault with a mark of 5.50m/18-0.5. The second day of the SEC Indoor Track & Field Championships starts Friday at 11 a.m. CT with the men’s weight throw. The meet will be streamed on SECN+.
