  1. I’m guessing Justus Terry because @Gerry Hamilton stopped including him on his picture of recruits left on the board. Also, I remember that Gerry once mentioned that Jakeem Stewart came in for a visit, but he’s said absolutely nothing about Stewart since…
  2. I suppose this says a lot about their prospects of signing Terry, Wynn, Mathis, Mbatchou, etc…?
  3. It will come down to coaching. We’ll know early in the game if Texas will win or lose. When Sark’s game plan is faulty, it shows right off the bat and his second half adjustments are non existent. And I don’t think we can overlook not belong able to pound the ball at times in Sark’s offense. It really hampers his play calling.
  4. From which team are you expecting the possible second loss to come from?
  5. How far away do you think he is from actually playing? If he’s as raw as what’s being reported, it sounds like he’s at least two years away from hitting the field. Am I off on that?
  6. I think it’s simple but we all just don’t want to say it about our 5* QB. Quinn has all the physical QB talent needed to succeed at a high level, but…. he doesn’t have it between the ears!
  7. @CJ Vogel the one you shared still shows him as questionable.
  8. Hopefully that first his hit will get him going.
  9. 🤔 Oregon…..
  10. At some point, isn’t that going to be the difference in championship teams and not? What would this defense look like if it had Nolan, Caldwell, or Williams in the middle? I know I’d be a lot more confident if Nolan was in the middle right now.
  11. Does Sark tend not to deal with those type situations or should we assume that Texas is still interested in him?
  12. Over all, Gerry probably knows a whole lot more than any singular coach.
  13. Texas still has the most impressive win of the season IMO. On the road 20pt win against no. 10 at the big house v. Holding on to be no. 2 at home…
  14. Before Jones it was Caden Sturns.
  15. Wonder what D‘antre Robinson is thinking… 🤔
  16. Bobby and Gerry, I hate to start a brand new post just to ask this question, but I haven’t found the right post to ask. When Fasusi committed to OU, a common reason from recruiting outlets was, “he has a real chance to play early”… If that truly is a factor with recruits, why hasn’t it worked for DTs committing to Texas over the past few years? We should have several hight 4* to 5*s committed for 2025 if that’s the case. What am I missing?
  17. Is he better than Bear Alexander or Jamari Caldwell? Just trying to understand what type of talent he is.
  18. On the topic of sacks, one guy who improved tremendously last year was Finkley. His freshman year, he couldn’t shed a block of his life depended on it and he couldn’t bend the edge either. But he improved a lot on both last year. If he doesn’t hit the portal and takes another step forward he could be a 5 sacks guy for us this year.
  19. Win at OSU 2005 Aggies final Big 12 game At Bama 2023 2005 Natty beating the greatest team ever
  20. I have not heard it mentioned, but in its first season in the SEC, Texas will only travel further than 250 miles from Austin 3 times (@UM, Vandy, Arkansas). That’s a lot of none travel time that can be used for game planning, getting healthy, film study etc. I think it will play a role in the season’s outcome. But I suspect next year’s schedule to be brutal!
