To win without Pulisic is awesome.
-
If we win the group then we will get a second or third place team in the first knockout round. After that it’s all about matchups.

USA USA USA ”I believe that we will win.”

We've mentioned this in the other portal threads, but so that everyone has it here in the main threads: — Yesterday and today, Texas has hosted St. Mary's catcher Ian Armstrong and Kent State OF/UTIL Sawyer Solitaria. Those visits will wrap up ahead of the weekend dead period. — Oregon OF Angel Laya is a target of interest for the Longhorns. As of now, he's the only one of the Oregon transfers OTF believes is a target for the staff (that could change, but we haven't heard of any interest between Texas and Naulivou Lauaki Jr. and Burke-Lee Mabeus as of now). — The proposed draft rule changes that were leaked as part of the ongoing dialogue related to Major League Baseball's Collective Bargaining Agreement are just that: proposed changes. Nothing has gone into effect that will impact the Texas roster in 2027. — With Texas Tech's Linkin Garcia the only portal addition thus far, here are the positional needs OTF believes the staff will try to address in the portal: pitchers (3), outfielders (2), infielders (2) and catchers (1). — The following Longhorns have entered the transfer portal as of Friday, June 19: RHP Cooper Rummel, OF Will Hill, RHP Jadyn Ferguson and C Presley Courville

Unfortunately it's the comp so far. I think they get eliminated in the knockout stage once they face real comp hopefully I'm wrong though.
-
For the soccer guys, does the US actually have a chance at this thing or is it just the competition so far?
-
AUS park the bus strategy didn’t work so bueno in the 1H
-
The USA team looks like it has a bunch of defensive backs on the team. Guys that are fast but not taller than 6'2". This might be the best US team ever. Some of the dudes have dual citizenship in other countries too. They are putting a beat down on the Aussies.

Monthly after they enroll
-
The student I know who receives NIL from another SEC school gets his monthly.
-
Next man up! USA! LFG! USA!
-
……how does NIL payments work? Say you offer a kid $1M for a year. Does he get it all upfront, half upfront and the other half at end of year, or in monthly or bi-weekly payments????

SEC, B1G Release Statement on Protect College Sports Act
TTown replied to CJ Vogel's topic in On Texas Football Forum
The real business starts now. The behind the scenes lobbying and amendments to the bill on the floor etc. The Big 10 and SEC will use all their chips now no doubt. They say they will bring it to the floor , but without 60 votes Thune won't bring it imo. Sure the 2 leagues want to stop it in the Senate. But if not the House is a different place , and see no way it gets done there anytime soon. We are all guessing, but I'd put my $ on no , or a very different version at the least. -
SEC, B1G Release Statement on Protect College Sports Act
.45s replied to CJ Vogel's topic in On Texas Football Forum
The woman sponsor of the bill seemed to insinuate that the SEC and the Big10 didn't really provide input like others did and both have shot back I think. In some ways it would be good to have some legislation, but I don't think they should be legislating conference realignment, how many teams can be in a conference, etc. -

I’ve been holding onto a Cedric Benson 2001 signed novelty - it’s on the Build-a-Bear pajamas of the BaB my mother had made me before a long trip back in 2001. She was and is a diehard Longhorn and received her masters at UT Austin which is what prompted me to ask to have the keepsake she gave me autographed. (As a 10 year old I thought she’d appreciate a longhorn’s autograph). Some of the UT football players from that season visited my middle school - Leander Middle School - I can’t remember why they were there, but I do remember them having an autograph table in our cafeteria. I’ve kept it in a box for 25 years and I’d like for it to maybe go to someone who can actually appreciate such a unique (and super random) artifact. I can’t seem to upload a photo but am happy to provide one! Thanks! -AM

Possible Chance Coming to MLB/College Baseball
Hookem1012 replied to camridleyfan's topic in On Texas Football Forum
0% chance that change actually happens. The MLBPA will never go for that.
