think a big problem was that our team couldnt play to our identity. schloss doesnt play augie ball. most teams in our league dont. could have benefitted us in omaha but, we hadnt played that style of ball all year really. difficult to start then. but in my career, (juco and D1 ball) when a guy is shoving a baseball down your throat, getting him moving and making plays off the mound gets him out of things. just not how we operate.

We’re 79 days away from Texas football, and today’s countdown features Terry Tausch, Tony Hills and Ben Adams. Tausch was a consensus All-American, Hills was an All-American and national champion, and Adams earned All-American honors during the Mack Brown transition era. Current No. 79: Jonte Newman.

Nike lazy bruh. They did Caitlin wrong with her signature shoe. They're really out here recycling. Her kicks giving the KD 17 or Lebron 21. They didn't think sneakerheads would notice. Like come on man.

It's off-season, we don't really got a lot to talk about right now lol.

Yup, the agent is like, “wait, hold my damn beer I’m gonna say sumphin bout this!”

https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/in-dismissing-his-ncaa-lawsuit-brendan-sorsby-says-texas-tech-told-him-he-wouldnt-play-in-2026 OKKKAAAAYYYYYYY so they go to bat for him so hard for months appealing multiple times to the NCAA on his behalf AND support his temporary injunction efforts. Make a hostage video explaining why they do it BUT now they told him he wouldn’t play for Tech this season and that’s why he dropped the suit?! If that’s true they would’ve just done that from the beginning. I’m sure they did say that AFTER the big 12 schools made Yormark actually do something said F this we’re going to federal court just to tell y’all we can enforce the rules you agreed to. They had their chance to do the right thing and missed it months ago. Go be the glorified community college you’re destined to be.

So wait, the agent knew, and then took him to Tech and got this large NIL deal and then it got out about gambling? so either Tech knew at the time and dint care, or the agent knew and didn’t tell Tech. If I’m Tech I’m going after the agent for not disclosing that he knowingly gambling

He was good against us, no doubt. Biggest issue was our bats going cold. In both games. Combination of those two things = no bueno.

His velocity was way down. His arm was tired.

Agree but it gets all the clicks etc.

Certainly want the criminal sooners to lose to UNC, but part of me is glad Skip put it on the scumdogs. Skip has his boys playing right. Conversely, Wes Johnson had his guys acting pretty trashy all season.

How? There are no legally enforceable standards to be a college eligible recruiting agent!

Well that was my point. The WR coach is going to get more for a sport that pulls in more money vs a HC in a sport that doesn't. It's all relative. Plus with Patty her base salary is only 300k, the rest of it comes from private funds. At least according to a quick google search. Apparently their Softball program generates 4.1 million. So half their revenue is going toward the coach (hypothetically speaking). But they also spend more than they make at 7.7 million operating costs. Anyway, I'm just blabbing on at this point and you know what I'm talking about anyway.

Pretty funny stuff. Ross Dellinger just tweeted that Tech told Sorsby he couldn't play there anymore. Was in the filing by Kessler to dismiss the ruling etc. His agent basically said the same on the radio. Poor Tech catching it from all sides still. 🤣 Thought it was mutual though lol.
