  1. Past hour
  2. Any word on targets? Catcher and OF should be prioritized🙏🏻.
  3. I'll admit that I don't know what 1v1 to 21 means. When I played 1v1 for money in South Oak Cliff in the 1990s, we always played make-it-take it to 11 by 1 gotta win by two.
  4. LSU Board bad hurt right now. Picture from Instagram with Easton on a boat on Lake Austin. And a day early 🤣
  5. They’ll both be gone. Both are projected top 3 round picks
  6. Interesting that the MLB is proposing changes to the MLB draft format. Their proposal essentially gets rid of highschool players being draft eligible and allows players to enter the draft after their sophomore year of college.
  7. He’s a draft eligible sophomore.. So you’d have to worry about him going pro. But he’s unbelievable behind the plate
  8. Oregon catcher what a cannon in the portal. Would be a nice get
  9. Roxie's is good diner food. Met a friend there for lunch about a month ago and had the chicken fried steak. The restaurant is owned by Scott Roberts, who owns the Salt Lick. It's in the Buda Grail &Mill location where Valentina's used to be.
  10. It is easier to kill a bill than to pass one.
  11. Please let that happen
  12. This would be massive
  13. Looks like we will have our home in 6 Creeks complete in October. I'll check the schedule, start the grill, and ice down the Yeti for a game watch for OTF members who can come. P
  14. Modern analytics sucks. AI says 2001 pre-prime Kobe at 22 would beat 2017 28 year old Curry by double digits in a 1v1 game to 21. Curry couldn't score on Kobe. Curry couldn't stop Kobe from scoring.
  15. Are Robbins and Tinney for sure going to MLB, or do they have any eligibility left.
  16. Let’s not forget Cody is not the only billionaire supporter of Cruz and other pols. This statement from the SEC and B1G is a warning shot. If this were a boxing match there was a punch landed that stunned the title holder. Fear not the big dawgs have been punched before and know how to punch back. If these two step away on their own this act is just a big nothing and consolidates money and power away froM the smaller schools even more.
  17. Today
  18. When runs are at a premium, this should have done sooner. Larsen wasn’t the OBP guy he was earlier in the season.
  19. To be clear, I don’t think this bill (in its current form) will become law even if it passes the senate. The house commerce committee is chaired by someone from Kentucky and the speaker is from Louisiana (I don’t see him knifing lsu in the back). However, I do stand by my criticism of Sankey. Over the last year or two, the sec has been reacting to other groups’ narratives about fixing college football. Sankey seems to have been caught without contingency plans for a bill that could devastate the schools he’s supposed to be looking after. I get that he probably didn’t expect this level of support for the bill, but in my view, it was irresponsible to not have a plan in place just in case this very thing happened. It’s not like he didn’t know the language in the bill a while ago.
  20. You’re not off base - that’s basically the tension here, even if the details are more complicated.
