  1. Past hour
  2. That T-Ring is gonna need its own spot in the pregame routine now. Huge congrats to B-Rob, well earned.
  3. Do Mississippi State and Kentucky last year not count as "true" road games? Not sure what that distinction means. Knoxville will be a great challenge to see where the team's mindset is. We don't need to be at our best to win, but Tennessee is more than capable of knocking us off if we aren't playing well.
  4. They had the #1. That’s the judge of it all and I don’t think anyone can beat em in the big 10 unless Oregon had a major reversal
  5. 3-0 is 3-0 no matter how ugly the wins are. At this point moving forward, I don't care if it take 4th quarter comebacks to win. As long as Texas wins. It could be ugly in Knoxville but to me it doesn't matter as long as the Horns come out on top. That said, Arch clearly is still not progressing like he should. That kind of play will not go far in this conference. Better figure it out and fast.
  6. No panic from me... 3-0!
  7. We don’t know about Ohio State. I think they are really good but we’ll see how their season unfolds. Beating the Golden Flashes badly proved nothing. LSU is a really good team. We’ll get a chance to show if they are overrated in Baton Rouge. I bet they are not overrated that night.
  8. Tennessee’s first half and ours were incredibly similar yesterday. Tennessee figured it out in the second half but Kennesaw State is also not UTSA. They are a bottom 25 team in the FBS. Yesterday was choppy, it happens. We have to clean it up tho.
  9. He has!! @Jeff Howe‘s job now is to make sure he wears it proudly and doesn’t lose it 😂! Congrats B-Rob a truly great player and person hook’em!
  10. Not panicked at all….there’s definitely things to be concerned about, but every game has things that could/can be cleaned up. If these guys can figure out how to play loose and have fun, the sky is the limit.
  11. 1. I liked the orange socks 2. No way they’d do that with the whites 3. The whites are the better Texas look 4. HookEm & Beat Tennessee
  12. Had @Rod Babers gotten his replacement yet?
  13. If you want to be the best you have to beat The best. Texas is the only person who beat the best. LSU looked nothing like they were billed to look.
  14. Let’s flood the vol club pregame. All you can eat/drink tailgate https://thevolunteerclub.com/products/texas-game-tailgate-pass
  15. Surprised a little. Texas has played well for a game and a quarter. Nothing about last night said #1. Most of the Ohio St game till the fourth didn’t look good. I would have Ole Miss #1 with wins over LSU and LVille. Georgia hasn’t played anyone but the eye ball test shows more consistency. I could go either way there. Texas has a chance to play a four quarter game against Tennessee and I believe they’ll need it. I am more concerned about this game than I was before the season started.
  16. I am fully prepared for OU fans to start calling for Burnt Vegetables’ job after Georgia decapitates them in the 2:30 CT slot. Following that, another L for the Aggies against LSU and it could be another fantastic weekend to be a longhorn if you’re also a grief-eater like myself
  17. I had kind of hoped UGA would leapfrog us this week, but the rallying cry this week needs to be #don’tforgetFlorida25!!! With all the SEC coaching experience we have now they know what Knoxville is going to be like and we need to roll in with that number 1 swagger. Let’s put Heupel away like we should have in 2000!! I want that freshman QB to be spinning!!
  18. You wouldn't think so based on the reactions to the poll release and what folks think about Texas.
  19. It looked predictable yesterday because it was. We didn't show anything, ran the ball 40 times (not considering Manning's runs). Still, our guys have to execute better and play with more effort on offense.
  20. Wear it proudly, B-Rob! You earned it!
  21. Arkansas and OU are the only unranked opponents left on Texas’ schedule. Unbelievably tough 9 games, folks…..
  22. I get the concern, but I don’t think the conclusion matches what’s actually happening on the field. Arch isn’t missing because he’s overwhelmed --- he’s missing because he’s still syncing his timing with what this offense demands. Sark’s system is built around anticipation, leverage manipulation, and throwing before the picture is fully formed. That’s a skill that develops with real reps, not just practice reps. What stood out to me is that the issues weren’t about vision -- they were about decisiveness. He hesitated, and when a QB hesitates in this scheme, everything looks worse than it is. That’s not a permanent flaw, it’s a developmental checkpoint. Plenty of quarterbacks have gone through the same phase in this offense before leveling out. And the roster around him isn’t being wasted. Coleman changes how defenses align even when he doesn’t get the ball. Safeties widen, corners play deeper, and that opens space for everything else. That’s value whether the QB is in rhythm or not. The next stretch of games will tell us more, but I’m not ready to declare a ceiling when the traits, the coaching, and the structure are all there. He needs to speed up his internal clock ...... not reinvent who he is.
  23. No one watched that game last night huh Everything pointing to getting our ass beat by #14 when, for the media, we're supposed to be the best team in the country. Feels like a repeat of last year!
  24. Not surprised, I bet exactly zero AP voters not affiliated with Texas watched that game last night. Only way we’d drop is if we lost.
