  1. Past hour
  2. Thanks, Bobby. We need more loin girding around here lately. Sark knows what he’s doing and Texas will be just fine.
  3. If hammers get dropped we will just go back to full on bag games.
  4. Are there penalties in place for punishing this kind of activity? If the hammer isn't dropped on this kind of stuff, it won't stop.
  5. Rules only apply to Texas cause “ethics” and if the “rules” are so unknown then operate your NIL program as you had previously been doing. Don’t hamstring yourself and put yourself behind the 8ball because you want to be a stickler for arbitrary rulings that will be litigated in law suits
  6. You can’t sign multi-year deals to go against rev share prior to House. You could forward it one year and Texas did that as much or more than anyone else. What is happening now is folks are going beyond that. Read the article. - Promising third party NiL is illegal. - Paying players while still in high school is illegal. - Promising you’ll pay them more if rules change is illegal.
  7. Seems like the schools that were prepared and had the money probably signed guys currently on the roster to multi year deals out of the collective before July 1, thus freeing up the revenue sharing money. @Bobby Burton any insight as to whether or not Texas was/is operating like this?
  8. Other schools have not figured anything out yet, other than they’re willing to lie and/or openly break the rules. Read this article from today and you’ll get a better sense of the bs that is out there. https://sports.yahoo.com/college-football/article/we-dont-know-the-rules--big-12-coaches-still-wrestling-with-new-world-order-after-player-payment-changes-013454522.html
  9. For those perplexed by the current NIL structure and how different schools are operating, the article I have linked below does a good job of laying out some of the terms. https://sports.yahoo.com/college-football/article/we-dont-know-the-rules--big-12-coaches-still-wrestling-with-new-world-order-after-player-payment-changes-013454522.html

  11. Today
  12. Brown, Berymon, Wells, Cleveland and Wesley all announced in June. Turntine and Okpala last week.
  13. Trust in Sark. July ain’t December. We’ve seen that time and time again. I’ll be blaring this song all December long when we close with a top 5 class and are looking at our 3rd straight playoff. Maybe some of y’all will remember Sark has been “Him” all along.
  14. My two thoughts are 1) he's probably going to OU according to the recruiting sites and 2) Texas is mentioned mainly so he can show off his "Horns Down" skills at the announcement ceremony to hear the roar of the crowd.
  15. So far, we got 2 of the players who were planning on committing in June and July. Not good. Teams are taking our NIL lunch money, and stuffing us in in our locker. If other teams seemingly figured out third party NIL before us, that's unacceptable and needs to be rectified quickly. We are in a new age of NIL, and right now Texas is not in the fight. We lost on TWO legacy recruits and now recruits like Ojo are just toying with us.
  16. There's no spin here. There was no spin last year either. Or the year before that. Texas will continue to recruit hard and see where the chips fall. Acting like this is some sort of death spiral is nonsensical.
  17. Texas must be buying property on Baltic and Mediterranean avenue this cycle lol.
  18. Never seen this many go the other way on Sark.
  19. Yesterday
  20. Exactly running out of excuses for now 😭 . Just stop paying attention until signing say is now the moral of the story. Nobody knows s hit about recruiting in this post House era .
  21. Tennessee was highly expected. No reason to get knickers in a twist.
  22. “Texas didn’t push for him” 🤣
  23. Disappointing, but this man is total class!

  25. He's a stud. Very quick first step, though a tad undersized. OU had the buzz earlier in the summer. Florida was threatening as well.
  26. He is the best pass rushing Buck we are recruiting in 2026. Henderson is really good and does other things better but as a 85% Collin Simmons replacement, Kreul is awesome. I hope we push more after we play Florida in the swamp. He should be at that game and probably RRR also. edit: didn’t realize OM overtook UF. He is suppose to decide in mid to late October, unless things changes.
