  1. Past hour
  2. They will need to go 11-1 regular season, because they will have ACC title game. If they are 10-2, then have to win ACC title game to have realistic shot to get in ... IMO, they need to beat Ole Miss to begin season.
  3. For sure. Goodman and I talked this weekend. They will be borderline top 5 team for them.
  4. I think the NC winner is wide open for sure I do think three No. 1 seeds could be a done deal, assuming teams stay healthy. Florida, Duke and Illinois Teams fighting for the last No. 1 and the four No. 2 seeds... UConn Texas Tennessee Arizona Arkansas Michigan State Louisville St. John's USC
  5. Today
  6. Yo. Texas is going to win the royal battle. Choosin Texas Lfg It doesn't take a crystal ball to see A cowboy always finds a way to leave Drinkin' Jack all by myself He's choosin' Texas, I can tell
  7. Great to have you as part of the OTF community!
  8. The best part of the site is we focus on sports. We don't give two cents for pop culture, politics, or movie reviews! We stick to Texas sports or something that would affect us directly like Congress's latest meddling. There is a lot of great content and I love the guest speakers. You made the right choice.
  9. It’s a hypothetical. Why are you assuming that they are going to start Hutson? And even if they do, he was actually pretty average last year. We can win it all if the rest of the line is above average to elite and our LG is average. Indiana had a few average pieces on its OL, including everybody’s favorite Westlake RG.
  10. Welcome! As a board primer, here’s a useful hate scale, normalized from 1-10: 1: OTF fans’ hatred of OTF (doesn’t exist) 2: Gerry’s hatred of vegetables 3: Rod B’s hatred of small butts 4: Bobby’s hatred of the Midwest 5: Texas fans’ hatred of Ketch 6: Joe Z’s hatred of Gerry (his absent father) 7: Texas fans’ hatred of A&M 8: CJ’s hatred of Jordan for taking his “Young Phenom” title 9: Bobby’s hatred of Hashtag 10: Texas fans’ hatred of OU 100: Joe Z’s hatred of Kyle Flood
  11. Their nonconference schedule is tougher than tech or IU
  12. Don't see the ACC getting more then one team in especially a two loss team
  13. Thanks for signing up and giving us a shot! Welcome to the community!
  14. I hate OU more than Aggy as well. Welcome aboard!
  15. I think the Brooks experiment started off well in the OU game. He did pretty well against probably the best DLine we faced all year.
  16. Welcome! Good choices on choosing this site (it’s the best) and for hating OU more than TAMU (they deserve it more!). Hook em!
  17. I think we’re kicking butt this year. Just play our game and the offense will hum along. Almost time to sit back and enjoy.
  18. This episode tomorrow is about to be a banger…
  19. I just signed up. I have been watching the OTF staff on youtube for the last year and chose this site because of them. I had been on the free site at Orangebloods for many years, but it got taken down a few months back. I just wanted to briefly introduce myself as I am anxiously awaiting this season and talking Texas sports. Btw, I hate ou more than aggy. Hook'em!
  20. I’ll agree Nick Brooks simply wasn’t ready, full stop. That was a flood disasterclass. Them not moving Cole over was baffling to me. You won’t hear any disagreement on Brooks. The missing blocks thing is interesting because in a nut shell, you’re right. But outside zone versus power gap is so much different in what needs to work. When you’re running zone, you have to beat someone to a spot, that’s the name of the game. If you don’t get there, the play is blown up if DL are attacking upfield. Power gap is pretty much just big on big double teams, trying to push DL into LB with pulling guards coming into the hole sometimes. You have a little more forgiveness on power schemes because of how the blocking shakes out. With zone, if you have one mess up, especially on the interior, you are looking at 3-4 yard losses. Stroh’s problem was he was too slow, which allowed for more athletic, attacking DL to cross his face and get into the backfield. This goes back to, I think, a previous point you’ve made about how sark should have known his personnel better. This is true. At the same time, if someone isn’t built for outside zone, then they’ll fail really spectacularly.
  21. While true (about laying groundwork for their own rulebook), you are putting power in congress that doesn't belong there, will be fraught with issues, and too slow to react and adjust to changes... so actually while seems good, think it will ultimately be detrimental and will require the conferences to write their own rulebook... 🤘
  22. I get this, but we should have at least 2 guys who should be in front of him. This goes back to the offseason. I like Siani more than Sprauge, but Guarnera almost felt like he was the piece.
