  2. Remember when you buddy chip brown posted all over social media at Baugh was entering the portal good times
  3. Foster Brooks, Don Rickles. I’m old.
  4. Florida believes they have the best RB in the country ... not sure I disagree https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/49878244/florida-rb-jadan-baugh-acclaimed-160-yard-start-2026
  5. From Bill Connelly of ESPN ... Mythbusting Arch Manning: What we know and what the games have shown for the Texas QB https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/49865104/arch-manning-myths-vs-realtity-texas-longhorns-ohio-state-buckeyes
  6. no kidding. Is it just me, or is this beginning to resemble pro wrestling, with the 'good guys' and the 'bad guys' nonsense? Lane and LSU are crapping in our bed as fans.
  7. Agree; it's childish, and a real detriment to College Football. My main concern is that we need a strong governing body to intervene here and set boundaries, and the NCAA is not that animal. Sad.
  8. Alright… but just this once!!
  9. Don't know if I agree, but I really do not like the conference championship game.
  10. If they go to 24 teams with no conference championship games, do you think that’s a step toward eliminating conferences as we know them? Perhaps we end up with an nfl-like structure with two large conferences. Another way we get there could be another round of expansion by the SEC & Big 10, essentially cherry picking Notre Dame and a couple of the ACC schools. im not a proponent of this, but I think that’s the direction we are heading.
  11. Talent and coaching, yes, but these guys are hemorrhaging dollars without results.
  12. Today
  13. @Joe Z he’s going after your Ducks!!! Go get him.
  14. With 16 teams, 9 conference games and no CCG you cannot have a champion.
  15. Didn't matter how much they pushed for him, he wanted to stay in on the west coast and more specifically California. Only shot at him would've been if he would've portaled out later but that's likely not happening now after his success there.
  16. Raleek was never their WR1 or even RB1 for that matter.
  17. Like with Raleek Brown?? 🤘🏻🤘🏼🤘🤘🏽🤘🏾🤘🏿
  18. The instability in college athletics provided the entry way necessary for Landry and his local judges to enter the fray. As the old saying goes: nature abhors a vacuum. That said, Kiffin is also a deliberate actor in this. Stupid sayings like "don't hate the player, hate the game" miss the point. He's an unethical reprobate seeking to advance his personal profile in a way no different than Landry. Regardless of how this works out for LSU, the SEC needs to drop the hammer on him to prevent future hucksters from trying to destabilize the system for their personal gain.
  19. Yeah, on the same page as you -- 12 was junk, 16 is clean, and 24 works fine if it brings back real non‑conference games. Killing conference title games is overdue anyway; they’re just TV filler at this point -- again, in agreement.
  20. Yeah, I get what you’re saying - the Landry/LSU mess is its own little fiefdom. That’s Baton Rouge politics doing Baton Rouge things. But that’s exactly why I don’t treat it like some grand driver of the national playoff structure. It’s a local power play, not a steering wheel for the sport. The playoff expansion fight is being pushed by the conferences and media money. The LSU situation is being pushed by a governor who saw a soft target and a chance to flex. Those are two totally different engines. Louisiana politics didn’t create the 24‑team bracket. Louisiana politics just reminded everyone how chaotic things get when a state leader decides the athletic department is his personal stage. And yeah --- the money is always lurking in the background - but it’s coming from different directions. ESPN and the Big Ten/SEC are chasing national revenue. Landry is chasing local political capital. One affects the entire sport; the other affects one campus and one fanbase.
  21. He has a talent advantage at Colorado and has them rolling backwards. He wouldn't do anything better at FSU.
  22. SMU is the only FBS or NFL team in the last 30 years to have: -3 or worse turnover margin twice as many penalties as their opponent fewer rushing yards than their opponent lower TOP than their opponent more missed FG than their opponent ...and yet still win the game. yo
