  5. Madi Booker's best crossover ever
  6. didn't realize Scottie wore #51...voting for him also
  7. He’s always ready to throw passes wonder what he’s shopping for lol!
  8. Note: OTF does not condone stealing the Arch Manning display. (I've been messaged several times about plans to steal this lol)
  9. Today
  10. wow Scottie just hit the worst iron shot he's ever hit on 17...looks bad on TV but I've seen some terrible shots end up ok from some of the other guys so we'll see...but it looks bad from here!
  11. I knew Scholtz when he was knee high to a grasshopper. Whole family was tall. And he did great in the NFL. I vote for Scholtz HOOKEM
  12. I certainly understand people playing off the ball and underneath throws converting the first as frustrating. Some of that to me falls on the player. Just because we’re off the ball doesn’t mean you can’t attack the ball or receiver. Certainly with that comes risk. I always refer back to Rod Woodson with the Steelers. He played off quite a bit, but he was aggressive downfield. He was susceptible to double moves at times for this reason. I don’t recall complaints about their defense lacking aggression. Different era though so that plays into it. I was very hopeful that Will would have become coach those many years ago. I’d love to have played for him. If I thought about that, he might be my number 1 choice of all time in that regard. So that’s how I feel about him.
  13. No. 51 is one of those jersey numbers that doesn't have a long list of household names, but these three are pretty easy to separate once you dig through the history... 1. Stan Thomas (OT) Thomas was a First-Team All-American and First-Team All-SWC selection in 1990, helped lead Texas to a Southwest Conference championship and became a first-round NFL Draft pick (No. 22 overall) by the Bears. That's a résumé nobody else wearing No. 51 can match. 2. Bruce Scholtz (LB) If there's someone who can make a case against Thomas, it's Scholtz. He was a First-Team All-SWC linebacker, piled up 351 career tackles (still among the best in school history), and was a second-round NFL Draft pick. One of the most productive linebackers Texas has ever had. 3. Donald Hawkins (OT) Hawkins rounds out the list. He started 24 games at left tackle, earned Second-Team All-Big 12 honors in 2013, and went on to play in the NFL. He doesn't have the accolades of Thomas or the career production of Scholtz, but he's the clear No. 3 for me. The current No. 51 is offensive lineman John Turntine III out of North Crowley.
  14. You said that Sark is now able to freely focus on the O with Muschamp being the "head coach of the defense". What else is that implying? Either way, I'm not going to argue about it. Just think it's a cop out. Also don't be so condescending in your post. It makes you sound like a douche bag.
  15. Apparently, Paxton's price tag/corruption was higher than thought. The Texas Tribune reported today that Paxton received $275K from Campbell the day before he intervened.
  16. I feel like we are in the same position 2019 LSU was in. I felt like that was our year until we played them. I have a feeling a lot of teams on our schedule will feel the way we did after playing LSU in 2019.🤘🤘🤘
  17. Agree that PK was good at not conceding the run. Imo, we conceded short passes. Playing off receivers, particularly on thrd downs, was my biggest complaint. I thought this left the D on the field too long, which is real problem with a quick strike O. Just thought it caused issues with TOP, evn though I'm not as concerned about that as many.
  18. Why not make it serious and Harvey bets that if Notre Dame wins the natty he has to post a video saying that Duncan is the GOAT of his era and Wemby will be better than Kobe 😂😂😂😂
  19. I’ve come to appreciate Wisner more over time. You highlighted the big games, but his effort was pretty consistent. Believe two years ago he was top 3 in yards per carry in the conference. I have a different view of PK. I don’t view taking away the big play as bend but don’t break. We don’t concede the run and have been top 25 in 3rd down conversion rate the past 3 years. I’d venture to say he mixes it up quite a bit. No, he’s not a press man coverage guy. That is difficult to find 3, 4 guys that do it well enough consistently so for many teams it’s better to make that the change of pace than the base defense. This season the change at both spots will likely downplay Wisner and PK. Thats not to say that’s not part of the reason, but we’re primed to be better this season had those changes not been made. I do think the schedule allows us to ease into the season a bit better than last year too. I’d say 10-2 regular season is the minimum number of wins.
  20. Surely you are not this dense. PK was a good coordinator. No one, including myself is saying he wasn’t. Sark obviously felt he wasn’t the best option against a nine game SEC schedule so he made the change to Muschamp. Please share where I said PK had any impact on our offensive struggles. Let me help you out champ. Our O struggled due to a subpar offensive line, average skill players and a new starting QB. You don’t have to be a mental giant to understand that two truths can happen at the same time.
  21. Yep. Future lottery pick. Growing two inches in the last year'ish has been big for him. He already possessed very high-end instincts and understanding. Anthony Back is 6-7, so it will be interesting to see where Beckham goes. Anthony was 1.5-2 inches taller at same point. I'm betting 6-4.5'ish, which means he's a very rare true PG prospect.
