  1. Past hour
  2. You've been alive that long and you haven't learned the world doesn't revolve around you yet? Some of us support and appreciate hearing about other schools, and can celebrate a good man getting a great job for himself and his family. Pull your head out of your ass and grow up
  3. Interview on GMA choked me up. Such a scary thing.
  4. Gerry gets us the HI ahead of any recruiting service without outing the kids just for ON3 to air it out. I wonder if the recruits care that their decision is somewhat spoiled.
  5. 3 Predictions to texas this morning on on3/rivals for Camara, he is the HI!
  6. I have followed Longhorn sports for probably longer than you’ve been alive. I follow everything concerning Longhorn sports, probably too much as my wife would say. I like all of the different sports that OTF posts about plus their podcast. I just don’t need information concerning the aggies, ou, or any other school not named Texas. 🤘🏻
  7. Fong bomb for Camara to Texas 👀
  8. In less than a year, he went from being able to do everything physically to not being able to talk or lift his arms. That's a pretty rapid advancement of that horrible disease. I can't imagine what it's like to be given a death sentence that early in life. Based on my own faith and the peace that I have, I pray that he has a close relationship with Jesus and that he is at peace in his heart with the certainty of that final journey.
  9. i love it here
  10. This kind of post has always been a head scratcher for me. The guy posted news about a rival’s coaching change in a Director’s Cup sport that many of us do, in fact, care about and try to follow. The better question is why you felt threatened by the original post to the level of needing post an admonishment of it. You may have noticed that there are mod threads created for all kinds of Texas sports, and Bobby and his team never lack in commentary about non-football sports as well.
  11. Man that was a sad watch.. prayers to the family
  12. Why do you care who the aggies hire as their track coach ? I could care less about any news concerning aTm. This is On Texas Football!🏈🤘🏻
  13. Today
  14. Big name recognition
  15. Prayers for him and his family ALS is a terrible disease https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/former-titans-star-chris-johnson-123716407.html
  16. In 1966 I was in Law School and lived downstairs in a two story duplex located on the area now occupied by the LBJ School. Frank Ryan's sister, a grad student, lived upstairs. By that coincidence I met Frank Ryan. He was both the Cleveland Browns QB and an adjunct math prof at Rice in the Spring. This is the same Larry Stephens the Browns traded to LA for Ryan, who went on to win an NFL title next to Jim Brown with Cleveland. I looked up Stephens because I had never heard of him before this morning.
  17. That also seems true, but it appears he still prefers OSU. Tough dynamic if both things are true.
  18. It would not necessarily show up here in a weight room video but do they work hand grip springs? In baseball in HS we were tested on grip strength. Seems to me skill players in football should work hand grip springs. If they don't - please pass the thought on to the staff.
  19. $20! Not sure you could get a ticket to basketball or baseball for $20 anymore....
  20. Penn State 1989 was my first game in person. Have the ticket stub. $20 lol. Gardere entered that game. That ugly ugly game ha. Still I was hooked.
  21. A note - Underwood became an attorney in Houston. He died recently. He was my age, I think. As a DE [but like Nobis he played both ways] at Texas he was a strong contributor to the Natty team and the team that beat Namath. Was a LB in the League. ... As I have written before Neil was my all time favorite OL at Texas until Justin Blaylock.
  22. You're right. I need to fix that. 1989 was 5-6, 4-4.
  23. The great thing about NIL is that if Larry Johnson retires in the next year or two, he knows he will have a home here.
  24. I think 10-2 was 1990. 1989 was my first year as a fan and was we’ll say not fun ha
  25. We’re 68 days away from Texas football, and today’s group has a good mix of old-school and more recent Longhorns. Derek Kerstetter was a steady, versatile piece up front with 58 games played, 49 starts and experience at guard, tackle and center. Larry Stephens helped Texas win the 1959 SWC title before becoming a second-round NFL Draft pick. Ken Hackemack also belongs in the mix as a four-year letterman who was drafted by the Chiefs. No one on the Texas roster currently wears 68 (65-68 actually).
