  1. Past hour
  2. Days like today I kept something cold in the fridge from Rouge(iykyk)πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
  3. He is known as Kyle floods puppet from now on πŸ˜‚β˜ οΈπŸ’€
  4. Dangit, Gerry, we all be paying for your poor parenting.
  5. Good grief, everyone, it's a bone bruise. Not an amputation.
  6. Idk why people here get so upset about speculation. Like wtf do you think we gonna do?
  7. I’d do the same. Plug in Coleman on the left. Maintain continuity as much as possible. Thanks OTF staff for keeping us informed. Crazy morning.
  8. Idk man high blood pressure can turn bad quickly.
  9. for what its worth, in my college baseball days i had a bone bruise in my right elbow and played a full series 2 weeks later. had a couple shots and some hardcore icing for a week, then it was more about if i could tolerate it.
  10. I would keep Melvin on the right side to continue to develop his rapport with baker. But I’m also a idiot and don’t know much
  11. The positive is I didn’t log on to OTF this morning until I saw the ESPN alert on my phone: The negative is I had to scroll through 12 pages of experts arguing over sh!t they know nothing about. My wife is a rheumatologist and she said he just needs a few IV’s to prevent arthritis. πŸ˜‚
  12. If Siani moves to the left side, my guess would be Newman or possibly Cojoe. There’s a case to be made for plugging Coleman in at left tackle and keeping everything else the same.
  13. OTF moderators because it a non season injury. Does the OL stay as is and let Newman, J Coleman, Cojoe Turntine et al battle at LT or move Sani to LT?
  14. Credible source told me 4-6 weeks. This is great news. Hypertension often come back quicker than expected too and don’t seem to linger much from what I’ve seen.
  15. I agree with this because the OL is still developing continuity. Shuffling around positions shortly before the season could hurt the progress.
  16. Who do you think will take first team reps Newman? Coleman?
  17. I added to the original post with some scenarios about what Texas could do as long as Goosby is out. With that said, I'm with @Gerry Hamilton β€” I want to keep Brandon Baker at left guard if at all possible.
  18. It’s great news that it’s nothing severe, but we do need him back as soon as possible. I hope he can be back for OSU because a loss there leaves very little margin of error the rest of the season. Perks of having the toughest schedule in the country.
  19. There was no contact based off of what I was told.
  20. Average recovery time is 4-8 weeks, but they can probably give him stuff to get him on the field if they have to. Or so I hear. A 326 lb left tackle putting weight on that is going to be painful and you don't want to do that if you can avoid it. If it's in a weight bearing part of the knee, he's not going to play against Ohio State, but I guess we'll do the day-to-day tango until then.
  21. There is no structural damage, so the only limiting factor will be pain. There was no report of ligament or cartilage damage, so I would assume the hyperextension was minor and the only damage was the bruise. Let's hope he's a fast healer and the swelling and discomfort rapidly subside with rest and the best orthopedic treatment on the planet.
