There's no excuse to play that sloppy against UTSA. If this team wants to win a national championship they need to prove to each other that the mistakes last week will be fixed. It's up to the coaching staff to drill that in their heads this week. This schedule is such a gift after winning against Ohio State. We got our legs against Texas State, battled adversity against Ohio State, the chance to get the right against UTSA, and then follow that up with the team to prove that they will show up against Tennessee when they couldn't last year against Florida. Then we get a bye! This schedule is the blue print in creating a battle tested and great team.

Ohio State plays Kent State. They could win that game with their 3rd string hungover and running the same play every time.

I am curious to see how this team responds to such an emotional win. In the past, the "hangover" seems to come after a win versus Oklahoma. I remember only too well the lopsided loss to Arkansas after beating Oklahoma in 1981. That was our only loss of the year (we also tied UH). We will not lose to UTSA, however I am slightly worried that we might play sloppy...give up big yardage plays, penalties, etc...I hope we can maintain focus and keep grinding. On the flip side, how will OSU respond to such a devastating loss? Ryan Day and his staff have their work cut out for them...oh well, Screw'em!

@Bobby Burton, from Section 3 couldn't tell live from our angle, but I remember they replayed it on the video board and it was a clear fumble. Turned to my buddies and said football gods are with us tonight. Damn that could have been catastrophic and I'm not sure we'd recover mentally from that if we turned it over after fighting so hard to get back in the game. Thanks for the reminder. I can't recall who recovered it. Was it 85, Emaree Winston?

I had to update this table after last night's game. '26 Texas-Ohio State was their third least likely victory according to the in-game win probability chart which has data back to 2014. 2nd most unlikely W in Sark's tenure. The 0.00% chance at Mississippi State was after this play, which ended up getting flagged and kept us in that one. Lowest point in the Ohio State game was right before the fourth down conversion to Winston.

I wouldn’t be mad at tOSU still being ranked #1. They had control of the game for 3 quarters, and they actually been the 1.5 point spread on the road.

Texas definitely dominated the second half and Especially late 3rd quarter and all of the fourth quarter! It was no fluke victory!! 🤘🏻🤘🏼🤘🤘🏽🤘🏾🤘🏿

Bo made himself some money on Saturday. Smith had zero catches after the long pass in 3q.

Muschamp had him basically 1 v1 with Smith and he held his own. When they had to put the clamps on him, they pretty much did.

I may have missed but haven’t read anyone talking about the big plays he made in the second half of the game, definitely had a huge impact on the outcome imho and he deserves some recognition and praise and respect!

Before the latest scandals with Harbaugh, Stallions & Moore. Michigan & Texas had a lot in common and our rivals (OU & tOSU) also share very similar traits.

If I'm honest, the TE's were really good blocking. Now if we could just get them to be more of a consistent threat in the pass game. Perhaps Winston is that guy? But Shannon did great, Masunas when he was in did great blocking, even Winston. I wonder if Coach Casula from Michigan is having a big impact on that? Not sure if I spelt his name right or not.

Because the win was so dramatic... Not just the comeback, but the display of growth....I am declaring this weekend the best regular season weekend in Texas Football History. The red zone success, ol blocking, and reduction of penalties are ALL the big white whales that Sark has been dealing with for the past year plus. Seeing the reposnse to the miscues and how the second half brought all these topics into focus.... And the team lived up to the expectations/challenge..... Man, talk about a statement. Sark the CEO is making the right moves in the offseason for moments like this to get him over the hump. Muschamp, the transfers, and the philosophy shifts to be more concerted on things like being physical and running the ball... Even down big. The only guy to outpace the rapid growth of Arch in the last 12 months... Might be our guy Sark.
