She did withdraw from UT. I think we all wish she was still here. He'll, I hope she comes back this fall.

Curious where Texas goes for their Outfield position

Lincoln committing doesn’t suddenly erase Bordi from the roster. Bordi was a mid‑year transfer, which means she was never eligible for 2026 anyway. Her first playable season is 2027 - that’s been the situation since the day she enrolled. And yeah, I’ve seen the other boards inventing ‘mental reasons’ or claiming she’s out. That’s message‑board fan fiction. I haven’t seen a single credible report that she is playing next year or that she isn’t. Texas hasn’t said a word. White hasn’t said a word. Unless i am missing something, going to keep assuming Bordi will be on the team next year, until she isn't. So no, Lincoln didn’t push her out. Lincoln didn’t change NCAA rules. Lincoln didn’t rewrite the calendar. This is just people connecting dots that aren’t even on the same page.

Brendan Sorsby to Enter NFL Supplemental Draft

He was eligible to play until the trial - meaning he was eligible to play this season - triggering any payment options. -

Brendan Sorsby to Enter NFL Supplemental Draft

Yeah, I just read that, too. Was surprised by the Kayshon Boutte case, which is comparable to Sorsby. As for Dekkers, he's playing in the UFL. If I can find a Kalshi prop on his round in the supplemental, I'd put money on 4th round and beyond.🫠 -

Yeah, that “Jed Clampett meets Don Corleone” schtick didn’t impress or intimidate anyone! -
Oops. Sorry. Thought Torres was another pitcher. If she’s a big bat, then by all means come on down!

How would a background check reveal gambling? -
She was like Laly at times with her command during the year. If she can control the location on her pitches she can dominate.

Blake - look at the stats, I think she was Tech's best pitcher in the world series

Torres hits over.500 and has an onbase percentage over 60%. She also plays stellar defense.

Sorsby abused Tech. They jumped through hula hoops and lost everybody's respect for a player who will never play a single snap for them. Unbelievable. Karmas a what? -

TT acts innocent, but wouldn’t they have done a background check on a player of that value? And he was clean and pure? -
and a lefty.

Brendan Sorsby to Enter NFL Supplemental Draft

Very interesting ESPN article about this situation. Many of the assumptions made in this thread are wrong if the article is right. Key points: Up to 8 teams might be interested in drafting him, he was seen as possibly QB2 ahead of Simpson in the 2026 draft, a possible first rounder. Some of those teams could want him as a starter candidate, others with aging QBs might want to groom him as a future starter. I was surprised at how highly he was rated and how many teams might be interested. I doubt he'd make it past the 2nd round in the supplemental draft. How about the gambling? Two examples were given of college guys dinged for gambling who got the opportunity to play in the NFL. This included QB Hunter Dekkers, who lost all eligibility for one $15 bet on his Iowa State team in a game he did not play in. He played a year at a JUCO (not sure if his choice or NFL requirement) and signed "with the Saints as an undrafted free agent, and he spent last season on the practice squad." The other player had around 8,900 bets in college, including 17 on college games, and was not disciplined by the NFL So there apparently would be a path for Sorsby. I know that's not what most want to hear on this thread ... read it for yourself at this link. I was pretty surprised reading the article. -
Brendan Sorsby to Enter NFL Supplemental Draft

So what happens if there is no supplemental draft or if he doesn’t get drafted? Does he try out as an UDFA or does he file another lawsuit to regain that last year of eligibility? -
She pitched well against Texas in relief in 1st game of the finals.

I believe that with Kessler withdrawing the lawsuit that sought a temporary injunction on his eligibility, he reverts to being ineligible under the NCAA's original ruling. -
