I know Sark said he was going to stay aggressive on fourth downs, especially early in games, but I'd like to see them at least take points early and as often as necessary. Coming away with nothing after multiple opportunities is psychologically deflating. With this defense, all points are a killer for the opposition. For Arch specifically, I agree with spreading out. Do that and run some tempo to manufacture rhythm. Less time to overthink and just go.

I am trying my best not to repeat myself but I have some thoughts that I want to spit out. Arch should not be receiving all the blame. I understand the grief and distraught from seeing a Manning under throw and spike a 5 yard mesh but at the same time, where is the help? We all like to harp back on last years Arch, well last years Arch had the benefits of arguably two first round picks at WR, a three year veteran o-line, and the list goes on. Sark must share equal blame in my opinion, and if he shouldn’t then I’d love to hear y’all’s opinions. But Arch looks like a very good player on a bad team, but he knows it’s bad so he starts pressing, which results in the breakdown of the most simple throws, which then only spirals from there leading to his horribly poor performances and everyone to point the finger at him. On top of this in my opinion Kyle Flood needs to get talked about more, I get some blame for AJ Milwee but what is Milwee supposed to do, like truthfully, I can assure everyone that Archs mechanics probably look just fine in practice. My main problem is that Flood has prioritized ‘big humans’ and other than Kelvin Banks Jr. and maybe Goosby, where is the quality O-linemen that other top programs produce? It’s Floods and Sarks fifth year and we are looking at regression?? I understand and feel the same way about Sark giving up play calling but that’s a moot point at this point in the season. Truthfully when you have a coach getting paid nearly as much as coaches who have gotten to the promised land and won ‘consistently’ that is a problem which can lead to massive pressure and massive arrogance, as well as complacency. Another thing I would like to harp on is it Arch’s fault that our systemic issues are still prevalent in year 5? Penalties, redzone, 3rd down, again putting so much pressure on Arch to fix these problems without really truly addressing the coaching aspect that may be the issue. Watching games over the weekend, I don’t believe it’s Arch’s fault that the O-line cannot get an ounce of push sometimes even against UTEP!!! They why not go to the portal then?? Again what do I know, I could be talking out of my *** but I’m tired of seeing an unfinished product every Saturday for years and years. My final thought is a hot take in that if Sark fails Arch, his days in Austin will be numbered. Love to hear opinions!

Looking for some game day advice. Bringing my step father in law and brother in law to their first game 09/20. Step father in law isn’t in best of health unfortunately , so we’ll likely leave before the end of the 4th quarter to try to beat the rush out. When is the “best” time to leave, so that I can miss the least amount of the new GameDay stuff that goes on?

I know were all hoping for 3, but here’s how likely I think each is. 1. 30% 2. 50% 3. 20% Not trying to be negative, I just think multiple somewhat unlikely things have to happen to really turn things around. -

Benching Arch for Caldwell over Owens and Lacey… that should be encouraging to Dia Bell. The most capable qb is the one who has been in the program the least amount of time? Lol. Honestly, the best thing to do is not panic. We need to see how Sark and his team respond. Sometimes teams play up and down to the level of their adversaries. We had a flood of preseason Kool Aid. Many drank it up with relish(not the noun… i hope). We are green all over on offense. Stroh and Baker are abysmal. Campbell gets 2 or 3 penalties a game and he is out alpha!? Losing Golden, Bond, Blue, Helm and not playing Moore, Wisner or Mosely with Baxter crumbling again after one carry… makes us an easy target for teams like UTEP to play with serious chips on their shoulders against us while Arch and the band aid boys try to figure it out.

My guy it's a forum for Texas fans to talk about Texas football. What does any of that have to do with people's concerns? This is such a weird take lol.

You still don’t get it. Talk about the offense. Cool. It’s 9:01 on a Sunday morning. What are we even doing? I’m going to tell my wife good morning before I get in trouble.
-
You called everyone stupid for talking about the offense and then admitted you’re delusional - do you even understand what you’re saying?

Being a fan is delusional, but letting this affect your health and mental space is asinine. Do something else with your Saturday.
