  1. Past hour
  2. He’s a fan and a paying member on this site. What qualifies you to call out fans that call coaches and players out? We all get to make comments on this site. Not just ones you agree with.
  3. Yes Ref’s wee not the issue but I thought the roughing the passer and PI against Phillips were bad calls. He called roughing because Biles hit him hard IMO. Bad call
  4. Gotten worse since they stopped playing Big 12 and started playing SEC defenses
  5. Point 4 is legit, I’m no coach and I’ve known for three years they’ve had a guard, center, guard problem
  6. One of, if not, the worst loss I can think of. Embarrassing. Robertson needs to be done. I've been staying patient with him but something has to change there. He's not the only blame by any means but he's just been on my radar for a while and this one did it for me. Bad coaching Bad execution Bad effort Bad discipline Just a really bad football game 27 points scored with one offensive TD and being outgained by 150 yards. Absolutely embarrassing product on the field today. Hopefully it'll be a wake-up call for the better and not for the worse.
  7. No you’re completely right, I guess I’m just tired of everyone hating our own Qb year after year.
  8. That’s a different conversation.
  9. Yet you want to bring up Herman and Strong? Like that should excuse anything Sark has done...The fact is the O is once again not good. We don't need to go back to failed HC's to talk about the current failures of Sark.
  10. I question his decision making, and his overall skills.
  11. I don’t think that’s the issue. I don’t question Arch’s will, toughness or anything of that nature.
  12. The Hell with Royal! Tired of constantly paying big money for 5 star WRs while our get em cheap offensive line gets dominated by every decent defense they play
  13. He will NOT be at Kentucky long.
  14. Not sure but I’d take Russell for Bama
  15. What qualifies you to call out play calling mistakes? Have you been a high level play caller at the top of CFB? Every time Sark runs a toss of sweep that doesn't work, fans go nuts. You must have variety in the run game.
  16. Watched every snap like usual….
  17. @Bobby Burton @CJ Vogel @Gerry Hamilton Is the missing link for the offense these past few seasons including this year, a ready to die QB? I feel like I haven’t seen any QB since Sam Ehlinger play so proud to be a longhorn. Nothing rattled that guy, just like VY and Colt. Just some ride or die guys.
  18. I need a corn dog meme to properly recognize this accurate depiction of what was. No glazing Texas lost and shouldn’t have. Will see what happens next
  19. Just curious did you just watch this game instead of trying to point to a HC who hasn't been here since 6 years a go and another who hasn't been here since 10 years ago.
  20. Yes arch made some mistakes. I have seen more play calling mistakes than I've seen arch make. If you can't run the ball consistently it makes everything harder. Is Arch calling the wrong run plays? Running behind your guard 99.9% of the time while pulling your other guard or takle around isn't working. You have to try stretch run, toss plays, or misdirection here and there
  21. I will save the thoughts I have for 24 hours, but for now I will say that Steve Sarkisián, Head Coach of The University of Texas, is the most over payed Coach in College Football.
  22. I love how the excitement for this season has completely tanked these past 3 weeks, for me is more cautious optimism. We only had one good offensive performance and that’s been in week 1. UTSA should have been a sign that there will be some massive regression from the offense this year
  23. Well said Gerry. I might go easier on Sark for the offense’s performance if there was an OC to blame. But that’s him and he’s supposedly an offensive guru. I was a proponent of Sark being hired based on his offensive prowess. That’s not what I’m seeing here. For the last couple seasons, it’s erratic and disjointed offensive production. There’s no rhythm or identity. And after six years, we STILL have an underwhelming offensive line. How long do we have to wait to have 5 competent linemen? And our special teams have only regressed from Banks’ initial years. We keep watching the same stumbling performances. I like Arch as an athlete, but he’s just mediocre as a QB on the college level. He’s not progressing…stares down receivers, doesn’t throw with anticipation, slow processing and vision, doesn’t adjust to defensive looks…etc. I mean, considering his family pedigree, if anyone should be groomed and progressing in the position it should be him. But the stark fact is, he’s not. And Sark won’t bench him due to Sark’s loathing of adverse actions on his QBs due to his past as a QB himself. I swear Arch looks less confident every game. Today his wheels came completely off in the 4th quarter. It’s a stretch if the current version of this team can even make the CFP. I’m not wanting a HC change…that’s silly at this point and a reason we wandered in the wilderness over 10 years. But we’ve got glaring problems that don’t seem easy to to fix. Sark will not give up play calling…and probably won’t take action (post season) on Banks or Flood. Seems we are stuck with mediocrity at best.
