Yes that was the wording. I don't mind that but was just saying that he said we got baseball commits.

The era of the non-mobile quarterback is eroding quickly. The defenses are too big and fast. You better have mobility as a quarterback or you will pay a very heavy price.

Not a bad week for CFB with some undefeateds at stake #22 Coogs at #13 Tech(-7.5): I like Tech to win and cover, but man, I do have a lot of confidence in Willie Fritz. It is doable, but I will go with Tech UNC at Clemson(-3.5): Both unranked, but interesting because Clemson/Dabo could be the beginning of a spiral. #16 SMU at 23 Louisville(-1.5): Don't know, my brain says Louisville, but SMU could be legit MSU at S Carolina: both 2-0, I will go with the hot hand QB at MSU, even though Beamer the better coach Florida at Auburn: Yawn. I won't really be watching but, Florida is the on everybody's radar. I'll take Fla MSU at #3 ND(-29.5): Both undefeated-ND Rolls #7 LSU(-3) at #8 Ole Miss: Gameday will be there and I'll take LSU all the way. Who do you guys have? Who will you be watching?

Not exactly a hidden gem but I've been very pleased with Melvin Siani's play. We have two dominant tackles now, plus Baker gets to plug the hole at guard.

Texas Baseball Picks Up 2028 Commitment
HonkEm replied to Blake Munroe's topic in On Texas Football Forum
That’s a good question. There’s been a lot of talk about changing the draft rules, but nothing has actually been approved or scheduled yet. MLB and the MLBPA have discussed the idea of pushing high‑school players toward college or the minors first, but it’s still just a proposal at this point. I don't know where this stands at this point. Believe @Blake Munroe would know. So for now(i think), clubs can still draft straight out of high school, and a prospect like Klug would be eligible the same way every other prep player is. If the league ever does move forward with that rule, it’ll change the calculus for kids with his kind of size and velocity, but don't think we’re not there yet. -
His name is Secks Havington sir, plz put some respect on that name lol

When will the new rule go into effect where MLB clubs are no longer able to draft straight out of high school? -
After 2 weeks, who are the biggest "bang for the buck" grabs out of the portal? We dont know their individual investment numbers, but lets just say "exceeding the hype (or lack thereof) they came in with." 1. Dillon Sikorski 2. Juice Cryer 3. Ian "Ge-Fridge" Gifrard

Thanks for laying this out @CJ Vogel --- I appreciate you highlighting it. I’m with you that the ball‑handling has to tighten up. The offense is doing a lot of things at a high level, but the inconsistency at the catch point has been the one thing that keeps drives from being as efficient as they should be. It’s a straightforward fix, and getting that cleaned up will make everything else in the passing game flow even better. I’m also going to keep an eye on Russell at Alabama going forward. His drop rate is sitting near the bottom of the conference, and that usually tells you something about timing, ball placement, and how cleanly a quarterback is delivering catchable throws. It’ll be interesting to see how that holds up once he faces better defenses. -
@Jeff Howe ---Had to do a double read on your post. the trench dominance you highlighted from late in the third quarter through the end is absolutely correct -- Texas took control of the LOS during the decisive stretch, and the numbers back that up. The only clarification I’d add is that Texas didn’t control the trenches for the entire game. Ohio State had the early advantage, and Texas asserted itself later. The outcome was shaped by when Texas won the LOS, not by a full‑game trench victory. Strong analysis overall, just a bit wide in the framing to me.

He is highly elusive and runs well but I think he is only like a 50% completion guy and tosses to the other team often. It wasn’t him in that playoff game against us. We couldn’t get him down but Skattebo was a demon in that game and bailed them out a lot. Just like overrated Johnny Manziel with Mike Evans. Without Evans, I bet he would’ve been just like Leavitt. -

Bet they wish Sorsby was still on the team lol. We’re all cougars this weekend!! -
@Bobby Burton said no tailgate, but something Friday evening. Unfortunately we don't get in to Knoxville until almost 10pm or something so will probably miss regardless. Both teams should be 3-0 and TN could conceivably be top 10 by then (currently 15). Should be a great kickoff to SEC slate! 🤘
