Tech seems willing to pay well-over market value when they ID a guy they really want. Recent examples include transfer edge David Bailey, whose offer was triple what most schools offered, and 5* OT recruit Felix Ojo. Supposedly Ojo was offered $5.1 million for 3 years even though he will most likely sit and “develop” for 1-2 years, and he was embarrassed by good edge rushers at camps before his senior season. No idea what the deal is with Edwards but that’s been the recent trend

Sam Spiegelman put in a pick this morning for R’Monie Edwards to TTech. I’m aware how early it is in the ‘28 cycle and that we haven’t really even begun to push for many guys in that class, but it seems like it came out of nowhere considering how much we’re prioritizing him. Did anything happen recently in this recruitment to give this prediction any substance behind it?

I like the discussion here. But on the big time throw rate, I think the QB gets credit even if they are dropped. Now, yards per attempt? The Wingo and Coleman misses alone drop that yards per attempt almost a yard alone. Arch’s drop percentage is 12th in the country at 12.2%. Five guys higher rates have 50 or fewer throws. Of the numbers quoted, it impacts yards per attempt, completion percentage and also impacts perspective on the average time to throw.

I understand no game offensively is going to be perfect but there is no reason for our offense to struggle against UTSA. Sark always preaches about The Standard being the Standard. In the past two games, I think we can all agree that our offense has not been up to standard for about 6 out of 8 quarters.

I think he is overrated. We had that guy that coaches Kentucky now named Will Steen about 10 years ago here, y’all can’t tell me with the talent we had the past few years that he wouldn’t have won 1 title here calling the offense with the Elite defenses we had

If you think about it, Sark’s job isn’t just to win, but to get guys to the NFL. The NFL, while having more mobile QBs, is a pocket passers game. If Arch can’t learn to sit in the pocket and make the throws he needs to make without scrambling, he won’t have a long NFL career.

what we need to do is to adopt Akron's strategy of letting fans call offensive plays. I'm sure we as a fanatic community will do better than the person widely recognized as one of the best play callers in footall.

Sark is the head coach. He said himself that he has more time to coach the offense. That is all positions (coaches and players). No excuses. If no blame is put on Sark then who is to blame? The players? The position coaches? Is it time to question Milwee at the QB coach?
