Frankly I don’t care which person ends up at which school. I care about who’s in the portal as a result, if our coaches can rectify the lack of clear talent / experience / depth on offense that should have been addressed last year, and if we can outgun the ones now willing to spend like crazy to get those guys.

Sark wanted 2 plays to get 8 yards. Thought he could catch 4-5 here. Kentucky brings pressure. C gets blown up. RT loses inside. TE gets lost in the traffic. Just a total mess.

Good question You are correct, I did flip those. Good catch Also left out they recorded 26 1st downs to our 8. Which makes the final score even more impressive for our D. Thanks all.

Agreed Jeff. Bare minimum and at least 15 - 20 first downs:) I have to wonder how much sitting for most of 2 years effects a QB, especially one with the expectations Arch had on him.

Trick play on 3rd & 3, Kentucky ends up with pressure after rushing 2. Texas has 7 willing blockers in the backfield. Just baffling how this happens. Nick Brooks doesn’t reach. Connor Robertson flips back while engaged and allows the free rusher.

Interesting. You are saying Sarkisian and Manning aren't prepared at all and make no adjustments in game. That's not the flex you think it is.

Kentucky clears out the left side of the field from a 3x1 look and forces Texas to drop much deeper than necessary on 3rd and 7. The underneath route gets plenty of space as a result and converts as a result.

Also, this might rehash some bad memories for some folks. That was the company the Kentucky game keeps offensively.

Much like a week ago, will be posting some nuggets from the game against Kentucky here in the thread below. I don't have all 22 access this weekend, but wanted to be sure to find some different angles and clips that could highlight where Texas was successful, or not, in the win.

Special teams and defense won this game. 3 FG by Shipley including one from 53 yards and the game winner in overtime from 45 yards. Our only TD was set up by a Bouwmeester punt that pinned Kentucky inside their 10. The defense stopped them, forced a punt and Niblett returned it to the 5 or 6 yard line and we were able to score a TD.

As a Buckeye fan, I’m on the edge of my seat waiting to hear this one as well haha

Arch Manning is not a young QB, and he’s not going to get better. Arch is who he is after 3 years in the system. Sark wastes another talent.

Just as thought. Yes or No. If you as an offense/play caller/QB face a different defense than what you prepared for, does that impact any of that?
