  1. Past hour
  2. I mean, it's been multiple years of the offense being bad. It's not some complicated thing either, it's obvious what the issues are. Demanding improvement is required to win anything in this sport, refusing to do it means you will get passed, rapidly.
  3. Pitchforks and torches are the norm for fanbases these days.
  4. Not trying to make much money at all. We usually go lower on ticket sites and i love kids getting to go for their first time. I was blessed to get to go to every home as a kid and my own kids have gone plenty.
  5. I think I’d rather have punted. Either way…our QB gave away the game. Pick Six and INT when we were driving for a FG. Just disappointed.
  6. FIFY for accuracy.
  7. That’s fair. I also don’t blame Sark for not trusting the punt team to execute.
  8. Not at all, by getting in first he may get the best price. They may be a lot lower by game time.
  9. Exactly! Texas was up 17-7. 17 to 7. Never would have thought we would have blown that lead. As so many have said, we gave them that game. I think that is what hurts the most. If it was a tight game the whole time like in 08, I could accept the loss. But knowing Texas was the better team and just messed around until they scored enough points to win is the worst.
  10. Well I hope CDC has learned that if you give out another contract extension before conference or national championship it usually doesn’t end well.
  11. Either a reverse toss sweep to Masunas for -5 yards or a TD pass for 35 yards. 80/20 who knows.
  12. If he went for it there’s a pretty high chance he calls a play action roll out for Arch that takes 5 seconds to develop and turns into a sack. I’d also have to end up buying a new TV.
  13. Not gonna get an argument from me on that. I thought play calling/sequencing was greedy all game. The only chance Oklahoma had was creating havoc and big plays on defense/special teams. To come out and throw it a ton just increases their chances to make those plays. Could've ran it every play, scored 10 points and won 10-3.
  14. Say what you want; the fact of the matter is that we should have never put the kicker in that position. Never! Go back through the sequence of plays and walk it through play by play just in that sequence. Should have never come to a 52 yard field goal.
  15. Johnny Football voice of reason😂😂 https://x.com/wakeupbarstool/status/2109633889203363932?s=20
  16. The momentum and feel of the game. I might be alone but I thought it was less than 50% chance he was gonna make it (he only was 60% from over 50 yards in career).
  17. I would say neither. Special teams might not give up another touchdown, but is it really fixed? Most likely is that the offense puts up more points coming up because the defenses aren't good (Defense will give up more points also). Nothing has shown they can adjust or improve.
  18. Kid has been pretty good all year.
  19. @CJ Vogel stay gangster in his press conference today! Dont let him off the hook 🤘
  20. Missed field goal felt like a guarantee to me. I doubt I am alone in that. Either way, with how much the donors bought for the offense, including the coach, you should be able to get 2 yards. If you can't, at least they have to go 7 yards further. I felt like there was no chance that the kick was gonna be made.
  21. Today
  22. Oh, I am going to have to totally disagree with that. A punt would have been the absolute worst decision. Especially knowing your kicker has hit from that distance already this year. What if you punt and it's a touchback? You gained a whopping 15 yards in field position. If you have that much faith in your defense, which we do, it's even more reason to go for it because defending from your own 35 shouldn't scare you.
  23. Hindsight 20-20 Bottom line is, we found a way to lose the game. Gave the damn game away. Sure hope we don't do that again. Not holding my breath.
  24. If he had gone for it and got stuffed, the second guessers would have been beating the should have kicked field goal drum. LOL
  25. As crazy as it sounds, I think special teams. Scheme and personnel changes are much less nuanced than what need to be done to get the offense right.
  26. For me, in the OU game and that environment changes the calculus. The momentum shift of a missed FG or a failed fourth down could break your back. Punt, play defense and force OU to execute coming off its goal line.
  27. @Gerry Hamilton @Bobby Burton @Hank South @CJ Vogel @Jeff Howe which is more likely to be corrected this season and why?
