  1. Past hour
  2. Love to see a guy that stuck it out getting to shine. Good for Kobe Black.
  3. Poor Tennessee State is about to get TROUNCED
  4. I’m late to the party on this one, but for #2 I would need to pick an offensive #2 and a defensive #2. So it’s Eric and Jerry. I know that’s a cop out, but I love my Longhorns too much to decide for #2.
  5. Did Sikorski beat out Seymore or are they just resting him?
  6. Get off my lawn
  7. It’s a little surprising that Devin is 2nd team and Jordan is 3rd team, but Jordan is new to playing G and the depth at T is better than expected with Cojoe and Newman playing so well. Devin is obviously playing well, and I always liked the way he moved in HS on his highlight tape as not only an OL but also as a DT and a blocking back.
  8. Only 4 sophomore starters. The rest are upperclassman. That alone should help with discipline. Over or under on 2.5 pre-snap penalties by the OL?
  9. I’d probably go Jerry Gray if we’re talking best overall résumé in burnt orange. Two-time consensus All-American, elite production, major awards, and College Football Hall of Fame is tough to beat. Metcalf is the one who makes me pause, though. He was electric in a way that still jumps off the page, and all-purpose impact matters a ton. Golden’s one year was huge, but for a “best No. 2” discussion, I lean toward the guys who stacked it over multiple seasons.
  10. Houston is not impressive. I don’t see them scaring Tech at all.
  11. Now Ohio State is running the ball
  12. Some of those positions feel thin. I’m also interested to see if any guys just show up as “gamers”.
  13. Agreed. And having a great statistical game against a cupcake. Yawn.
  14. Really hope Baxter has a great year but lets face it there are a thousand college RBs who could have those stats against Youngstown State
  15. It was the right call. I think they would have kept him. But I think CJ wanted more cash than his production warranted. It’s tough. But that is the landscape now.
  16. The Heisman celebration has jumped the shark. Desmond started it in the final game of the year, after a great year, not a great game.
  17. I would imagine ESPN would kick it over to ESPN News or the WatchESPN app. Or just go with Texas depending on the Houston delay.
  18. Kentucky up at half on Youngstown State CB4 8 carries for 44 and 2 TD's Bo Barnes 6 tackles
  19. Fair. But give context to the stats.
  20. Question for the group, With the Houston game currently delayed and likely won’t end before the Texas game begins, will coverage switch to the UT game before the Houston game finishes? Or do we have to wait for the Cougar High game to end? Thanks and Hook’em!
  21. With the likes of Toney and Jeremiah Smith campaigning early for their Heisman, I sure hope Arch, Wingo, coleman, the RBs, etc. act and talk like champions and focus on team success. Take care of business and win. The awards will figure themselves out. Act like you have been there before.
  22. They were not great at that last year, were they? They made gay on that defense and I'm the passing game. They reminded me of those Stoops teams in the late 2000s.
