  1. Past hour
  2. 💯💯💯💯 PK was scapegoated. Texas fans are so damn gullible. We bought the Muschamp will make me better as an OC and HC con job. Sark doesn't have a clue what is wrong. He doesn't hold himself or his coaches responsible for anything outside of recruiting failures.
  3. Seems about where we should be. Let’s focus on Florida and what we need to do to get better offensively and on special teams.
  4. I thought they were going to drop a little more. Let's see how the Horns respond over the coming weeks. HOOK EM!!!!
  5. Brad Kellner gives some astonishing stats on how bad the Longhorns offense actually is. Ranked nearly last in college football in numerous categories https://www.instagram.com/reel/DeXOnniD9Q7/?srtk=ZGh3cm0ydmYzdzdn Sark is never gonna demote himself. CDC needs to step in and take the reigns of this. We need an offensive coordinator immediately. Out of 138 teams 104th in yards per play 117th rushing efficiency 124th in 20+ yard plays Highest 3 and out rate of any team in the SEC (worse than OU, A&M and Arkansas is outlandish)

  6. After a lateral once the player establishes himself as a passer the same protections that a QB receive applies to the new passer.
  7. It's hard to get into a rhythm when 10 of your 15 possessions are as follows: — 7 three-and-outs — A four-play drive with a punt — Two plays and an interception — Four plays and an interception
  8. I wonder if Sark was busy thinking about the offense not working at our 10 yard line because he does everything. Maybe if he was head coach he might have told special teams about a punt block would be on and to be ready. or make sure the st coach told them. just a thought on that play.
  9. He didn't hit him in the head though. Clearly hit his shoulder
  10. Sometimes all it takes is to look in a different direction. I'm not saying to move on from Arch, I mean literally looking towards a different direction. For whatever reason, Arch looks like a former shell of himself after ending on a high note last season. I don't know what kind of pressure he's feeling, but you can tell he's terrified of the moment. There's no hiding either because the second he gets benched, the media firestorm will begin and that's that. This was similar last year, and he eventually figured it out. The problem is mental and unfortunately the only way for him to get through it is to play through it. Sounds like the fanbase is ready to move on, but I really do think that would be a mistake.
  11. Im leaning toward….Miamis version of Qb. Get one thru portal thats proven, bet on the latest result! KY got a Gamer for Qb! Their leading wr last game was a freshman Darby Sarks-Sabans version of stacking qbs maybe outdated . Arch in another yr …. Might just be another Cj baxter success story once he has these 2 yrs of experience
  12. After Saturday's 27-24 loss to Oklahoma in the Red River Shootout, Texas (4-1, 1-1 SEC) dropped from No. 1 to No. 7 in the Associated Press Top 25. The Longhorns are also No. 6 in the AFCA Coaches Poll.
  13. Can't hit the passer in the head/neck area, which is what he did ... As for the PI call on (I think) Phillips ... looked clean from the front (and probably real time at the game) but in the replay you can clearly see the DBs left arm wrapped around the neck/shoulder area. Good call.
  14. That maybe true, but as Gerry said, the offense will look much better against these teams coming up on the schedule that don’t have those types of defenses. It will be fools gold. At some point you will have to face teams/defenses like that if they want to make a deep run, which this roster was supposedly built to do. I don’t believe they can beat a Georgia, Alabama, Notre Dame or even Ohio State again in a potential rematch. I think Indiana and Cignetti would out coach Sark, too. Miami’s D isn’t good, but would they be able to keep up with their offense?
  15. How much of this is player vs. coaches in your opinion Gerry?
  16. Did anyone ask Arch why he made that stupid throw?
  17. Agree, it was a HUGE call at that point in the game. The INT likely would have sealed the game.
  18. I’m worried the HC and OC continues to refuse to simplify the scheme, playbook, and stick with what’s working. Every drive is discombobulated. Nothing is an “identity” and when something does work, he drops it. I don’t get it.
  19. Being both HC and OC/play caller is too big a responsibility in POWER 4, especially in the SEC - and especially at TEXAS, where the off-field duties seem to never end. An average-to-good OC/play caller addition would make a huge difference IMO.
  20. I probably need to watch it again, but have no desire too my thoughts were he did hit him high but was trying to block the pass and follow thru with a hit. I did not think he targeted head and neck area???? Doesn’t matter no going back, but that was a huge call. Have not read many agreeing with me so probably wrong, but the replay looked like no penalty to me
  21. If an elite QB is required to have a consistently good offense then that tells me the play caller is sub-par.
  22. His performance, along with the defense's performance was eerie similar to their defensive performance against Ohio State last season in Columbus. The box score will say that it was a fantastic day from them, but the offside penalties, roughing the passer penalties, and pass interference calls were rough, and there were not enough havoc plays outside of the first few drives in this game from that unit. Obviously, the defense wasn't the main reason Texas lost, but against better offensive football teams, those havoc plays have to come to give this Jekyll and Hyde offense shorter fields to work with.
