  2. Us.........WE NEED MORE IOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also us...........WHY ARE WE BRINGING IN MORE IOL???????????
  3. This is right. He's a third team guy. One of the freshmen got hurt and they need a body
  4. Yes because if there is one position I’m not concerned about because a coach has done so well evaluating and developing, it’s IOL.
  5. They aren’t signing a dude who played on the FG team at SMU to come compete to be the first or second dude off the bench at Texas. He is another warm body who will allow the second and third teams to scrimmage in the fall and get some work on scout team. Kind of like Velton Gardner a few years ago. You are reading way too much into this.

  7. This. No practice squad transactions during the season.
  8. That was an awesome win over a very good Michigan team last night. The Lady Longhorns are playing their best basketball of the season at exactly the right time. This season is also a great example of why the SEC matters. Back in January and February, Texas lost 3 of 8 games, including that 16-point loss to Vanderbilt on February 10. I remember Coach Vic challenging this team in that stretch, and it feels like that moment galvanized them. Since then, they’ve taken their defensive intensity to another level and they haven’t lost since. 🤘🏼🧡 That SEC gauntlet is paying off now. Add in a strong non-conference schedule, and Texas was built for this March run, even when the threes aren’t dropping. Think about the Lady Longhorn résumé this season: Beat #3 UCLA by 11 in November. Also beat #11 North Carolina, #13 Baylor, and #24 Richmond out of conference. In SEC play, beat #2 South Carolina twice, including a 17-point win in the SEC title game, plus wins over #10 Oklahoma, #5 LSU, #22 Tennessee, #24 Alabama, #24 Ole Miss, and #18 Kentucky twice, including a 22-point Sweet 16 win. And last night was more proof. Texas couldn’t buy a three in the first half but absolutely smothered Michigan defensively. Holding the Wolverines to 21 first-half points and winning by 36 was no fluke. This defense is relentless, and Rori Harmon sets the tone. That SEC Championship game against South Carolina still stands out. I honestly can’t remember seeing Texas come out with that kind of intensity against a top team. Five minutes in, it was obvious South Carolina was in trouble. Texas led 27-12 after the first quarter and never let up. SEC champs in Year 2 in the conference. Incredible. Way to go Coach Vic, Madison Booker, Rori Harmon, Lee, Oldacre, Carlton, and the whole team. Keep it rolling in the rematch with UCLA on Friday. Hook ’em. 🧡🤘🏼🐂

  9. I've said before and I'll say it again. Jokic and Doncic would not have started for an NBA team twenty-five years ago. Without rules to protect the slow Euro boys offensively, they'd get exposed really quick.
  10. Why would we not take him? All the people chattering about the early portal and Flood not taking enough OL. Now we take one and people still complaining.
  11. I wouldn’t say that. Insurance IMO.
  12. We need the video of an aggie fan injuring their own LF by throwing back a homerun ball and hitting him in the back of the head.
  13. Can confirm this report! He played 11 games this past year and can play either tackle or guard. Important depth piece for Kyle Flood.
  14. This is a depth take. He can play tackle or guard. Played in 11 games at SMU last season. Originally signed with Arkansas in the 2023 cycle.
  15. I get the signing for depth purposes, but this tells me they don’t have a 7-deep
  16. But but but I thought we feel good about our OL LOL Kyle flood strikes again
  17. Certainly much better than SGA or no defense Doncic.
  18. aggy orientation session:
  19. Glad someone brought this back up after last night lol
  20. Sark said he had a "championship roster" last spring. Probably did, but it didn't come together soon enough for whatever reasons. If they take it to Ohio State in week two, we know we have the goods.
  21. Another gem of a performance last night…
  22. Whether it was the knee or not getting along with Coach Akina, who cares. Derrick Williams is a playmaker and I think having Coach Gideon back is more valuable than we realize. With Muschamp in tow, the secondary can finally be aggressive and attack the football, attack offenses and put themselves in more favorable situations. Here's one more thing to consider. These guys actually CHOSE each other. Think about it... in the transfer portal era, either being recruited by Texas, or being on the roster and having a shot at the portal, you're a commodity. There's not a school in the country that won't either recruit the kids Texas is after, or take one of the kids off our roster, thru the portal. In saying that, this 2026 team, by Sark's account, not just mine, is already closer than the 2025 squad. There is certainty here, and a sense of purpose and finality with this team that shouldn't go unnoticed. Unfinished business, dreams and goals are lined up... and we're seeing a motivated team come together over spring. Super excited to get started!! 🤘🏿🔥
  23. Sark has said some version of this the past few years. He may be more right this year.
  24. Always interesting how people’s minds work. This team had enough talent/skill to win it all last year. Just because you don’t win it doesn’t mean they were incapable. It needed things to break right, which obviously didn’t happen. Lack of experience hurt but will benefit this years team. Now this year we go “all in.” That could mean several things, but to me it means we’re paying significant dollars in an attempt to buy a championship. But I’m on the outside of what that looks like in terms of those dollars. The guys footing the bill for this years team are the ones who need to answer the championship or bust. But as a nobody, based on less than full information, I’d lean towards anything short of a championship is a bust. It shouldn’t be a surprise that we have more talent and depth than ever. We’ve largely whiffed at recruiting at DT for the past 5 years. If you didn’t like last years RBs, then that was largely a whiff too. The portal and NIL allow you opportunities to build up your team. That didn’t exist 5 years ago. Sark was a right choice at the right time for this program. He has done well taking advantage, but he needs to finish the job.
